12 Days Garden Route Adventure Tour Package
Itinerary
Upon arrival into Cape Town you will be met and transferred to your hotel – check in and spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Soak up the atmosphere of the city and waterfront area. Day 3 Cape Peninsula Tour Visit Hout Bay; heart of the local crayfish industry. Enjoy the spectacular views at the Cape of Good Hope and visit a colony of penguins at Boulders Beach. Day 4 Winelands Tour Escape to the beauty and tranquility of the Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch Winelands and sample wines from well-known estates. Day 5 At leisure, Cape Town Cape Town is indescribably beautiful and is steeped in fascinating history. Ride a cable-car to the top of Table Mountain, take a ferry to Robben Island, or meander through the V&A Waterfront area. Day 6 Drive Cape Town to Hermanus This morning your rental car will be dropped off at the hotel. Head out of Cape Town toward Hermanus – driving time is approximately 2.5 hours. Arrive into Hermanus, check into your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure exploring this quaint town. Day 7 Drive Hermanus to Oudtshoorn Enjoy breakfast in Hermanus before continuing along the coastal road toward Knysna – bypassing Mossel Bay and George – driving time is approximately 4 hours. Check into your Oudtshoorn hotel and spend the remainder of the afternoon exploring the surrounds. Day 8 Drive Oudtshoorn to Knysna Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before you check out and explore Oudtshoorn some more. Later today head southwards towards George and then continue to Knysna – check into your hotel and spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Days 9 At leisure, Knysna Explore Knysna and its surrounds. Perhaps venture into Tsitsikamma National Park or enjoy a cruise to Featherbed Nature Reserve. Day 10 Drive Knysna to Shamwari Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before you check out and continue your journey eastward along the cost towards Port Elizabeth. Driving time is approximately 4 hours. Continue to Shamwari Game Reserve and check into your accommodation. Days 11-12 Shamwari Game Reserve Spend time enjoying the activities offered at the lodge. Day 13 Fly Port Elizabeth to USA (Via Johannesburg) This morning, enjoy your morning activity followed by breakfast. Later this morning you will be transferred to Port Elizabeth airport to connect with your flight to Johannesburg.
