Day 2: En Route

Day 3: Arrive Johannesburg, South Africa
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you are met and escorted to your hotel in the exclusive area of Melrose Arch, a city within a city. The rest of the day is at leisure. Protea Melrose Arch Hotel.

Day 4: Johannesburg / Moremi Wildlife Reserve, Botswana
Fly from Johannesburg to Maun, and connect with a charter flight. Begin discovering one of Africa's last pristine lands. Your safari lodge is within a private concession on the western border of Moremi Wildlife Reserve. Under ebony and strangler fig trees, the luxurious safari tents are on raised platforms, each with private sundeck. Nxabega Safari Lodge (B,D)

Day 5: Moremi Wildlife Reserve
Today, you investigate the reserve in protected tribal lands bordering the Okavango Delta. Moremi is a place of rich wetlands, grass plains and forests, where even at the busiest time of year you may be the only people around to witness dramatic animal sightings. Nxabega Safari Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 6: Moremi Wildlife Reserve / Okavango Delta
A light charter plane whisks you to your second game lodge, Sandibe Safari Camp. The camp is just south of Chief's Island, the largest island in the delta, and one of the most serenely beautiful. In this wilderness area, game viewing is scheduled according to the seasonal movement of wildlife. The maze of waterways and wooded islands is home to crocodile, hippo, elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, giraffe, wild dog, rare antelope and about 400 bird species. Here, enjoy game drives, bush walks, river cruises, fishing and bird watching. Even stargazing is a treat here. Sandibe Safari Camp (B,L,D)

Days 7 & 8: Okavango Delta
Your personal encounter with the delta may come in the brooding quietness of the waterways, or maybe in the delta’s glorious sunsets. Continue your exploration of Moremi’s richness, even around your safari camp. The mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe, allows you to travel silently in shallow waters and seasonal flood plains. Day 9: Okavango Delta / Johannesburg / Depart
You transfer by light charter flight from the Okavango Delta to Maun’s airport. Fly to Johannesburg, where our representative meets you and returns any stored luggage. You continue with your flight home. (B)

Arrive in the USA with outstanding memories of your Botswana adventure.
