Tour Itinerary
Day 1. Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport you will be me & assisted by Our local representative and transferred to your chosen hotel. The remainder of your day is at leisure.
Day 2. Cairo. Today you visit the fabulous Egyptian Museum; the Solar Boat; Cheop's Pyramid; the Sphinx and Bazaars. BL
Day 3. Cairo to Luxor with Abu Simbel Excursion. This morning fly south to Abu Simbel to marvel at the temples and colossal statues of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari. Afterwards, fly back to Luxor via Aswan. Upon arrival in Luxor you will be transferred to your chosen hotel. BL
Day 4. Luxor to Cairo. Today cross the Nile to Luxor's West Bank to explore the New Kingdom city of "Thebes". Sightseeing includes the Valley of the Kings where some 64 of Egypt's Pharaohs have their palatial resting places hewn into the sheer rock; the Valley of the Queens, the stupendous Deir El Bahari mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Also visit Luxor and Karnak Temples, a holy city dedicated to the God Amon-Ra, his consort Mut, and their son Khonsu. Fly back to Cairo, upon arrival you will be transferred to your chosen hotel. BL
Day 5. Cairo to Jerusalem. Transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Tel Aviv (not included). Upon arrival, you will be met by Our local representative and transferred to your Jerusalem hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore this fascinating city. B
Day 6. Jerusalem the New City. Today you will visit the Hadassah Medical Center and see the Chagall stained glass windows. Proceed to Bayit Vagan to see the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the Second Temple era. Continue to the Yad Vashem Memorial to the Holocaust and then to the Israel Museum; visit the Shrine of The Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are on display. See the Knesset, the Supreme Court building and the campus of the Hebrew University. B
Day 7. Dead Sea/Massada/Qumran. We drive to Massada via the shores of the Dead Sea. Ascend by cable car to the top of the mountain to marvel at Herod's fortress - visit the synagogue, storehouses and more. Drive to Qumran, where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. B
Day 8. Jerusalem the Old City. Today visit the Old city, the Western (Wailing) Wall, Temple Mount and the Dome of The Rock. Continue to the Pool of Bethesda and the Church of St. Anne, then walk the Via Dolorosa, beginning at Pilate's Judgment Hall and ending at the church of The Holy Sepulchre. In the afternoon we visit St. Peter in Galicantu and Mt. Zion to see the Room of The Last Supper and the tomb of King David. End the day with a visit of the Garden Tomb. B
Day 9. Depart Jerusalem. You will be transferred to Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv for your onward flight. B
