Day 1: Depart USA
Depart on your transatlantic flight to Europe.

Day 2: London / Nairobi, Kenya
Connect with your onward flight to Nairobi, in the heart of Kenya’s big-game safari country. A representative greets and escorts you to your elegant hotel in the city center. Nairobi Serena Hotel

Day 3: Nairobi
This morning is at leisure. After lunch and an informational briefing, you tour the enchanting Giraffe Center and author Karen Blixen’s home. Enjoy a welcome dinner this evening. Nairobi Serena Hotel (B,L,D)

Day 4: Nairobi / Aberdare National Park
Safari life begins as you head toward the highlands. After lunch at Aberdare Country Club, venture deep into the Aberdare Mountains to your tree lodge situated in a fairyland forest. Throughout the night, a constant parade of wildlife comes to the floodlit watering hole: birds, bushbuck, elephant, buffalo, rhino,
hyena and, maybe, the rare forest hog or leopard. The Ark (B,L,D)

Day 5: Aberdare National Park / Sweetwaters Game Reserve
After breakfast, head to Sweetwaters, a 22,000-acre private reserve encompassing a rich terrain of plains, low hills and forest. Arrive at your tented camp, where you savor the experience of sleeping in tented luxury. Visit Jane Goodall's chimpanzee sanctuary, or you may want to schedule optional camel rides or nature walks. Day 6: Sweetwaters Game Reserve / Mt. Kenya
Travel to the distinguished Mt. Kenya Safari Club. The grounds are graced with free-roaming peacocks and other exotic birds. You may opt for a horseback ride, a round of golf or tennis, swimming or trout fishing. Mount Kenya Safari Club (B,L,D)

Day 7: Mt. Kenya / Lake Nakuru National Park
Move across serene farmlands to scenic Thompson's Falls, and then on to Lake Nakuru. One of the world's most important bird sanctuaries, the lake is home to great flocks of flamingos as well as some 400 species of resident birds. It is also a designated rhino sanctuary. Lion Hill Lodge (B,L,D)

Day 8: Lake Nakuru National Park / Masai Mara Game Reserve
After breakfast, drive to Masai Mara, Kenya's premier wildlife sanctuary. This is big-game country at its finest. Your home for the next two nights is a tented camp that captures the spirit and romance of the Kenyan wilderness. Mara Sarova Tented Camp (B,L,D)

Day 9: Masai Mara Game Reserve
The Mara has long been famed for its concentrations of game. Staggering numbers of plains animals support a large predator population. During a game run, you may spot herds of impala, giraffe, elephant, topi, buffalo and wart hog as well as cheetah, leopard and large lion prides. You may also want to visit the Masai Cultural Village, enjoy a bird- watching outing, take a nature walk, or experience the Mara from a hot-air balloon (pre-paid supplement) over the plains. Day 10: Masai Mara Game Reserve / Nairobi / Depart
Venture once more into the wilds of the Mara for a final game drive. Then, fly back to Nairobi, where dayrooms have been reserved for your convenience. The balance of the afternoon is free to pursue your own interests. This evening share memories at a gala farewell dinner before bidding Kwaheri (Swahili for “goodbye”) as you transfer to the airport for your late evening flight to Europe.
