Upon arrival at the airport our English-speaking Malagasy agents will meet and assist you with formalities. You will then be transferred to your hotel, the remainder of the day is at leisure. F Palissandre Hotel & Spa Day 2 - 8. Anjajavy. Today you will be transferred to the airport for your charter flight from Antananarivo to Anjajavy where you will be staying for 7 nights. Tucked away in a 400-hectare reserve, the Anjajavy peninsula is a paradise for nature and sea lovers. The hotel consists of a beautiful ensemble of rosewood villas, each with a spacious terrace, overlooking the breathtaking beaches and beautiful bay. Absolute tranquility in a truly welcoming setting. Vakona Lodge or similar (2 nights) Day 10. Andasibe-Mantadia National Park (Perinet). A whole day to explore this National Park. To see the most wildlife (especially Indris and birds) be in the rainforest as close to daybreak as possible as then animals are most active. The trails are not difficult to manage and most forest guides speak English. B Day 11. Mantadia National Park – Depart for Johannesburg. Today you can visit the more remote rainforest of Mantadia National Park. This is more challenging terrain than Andasibe Mantadia National Park, but you can do as much as you feel comfortable with. Later you will transferred to the airport for your return flight to Johannesburg. BF Exchange rates differ from time to time. Day 9. Anjajavy to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park (Perinet). You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Antananarivo, from there you will be transferred to Andasibe-Mantadia National Park and enjoy the picturesque scenery en-route (3 – 3 ½ hours by good, winding road). If visiting in spring or summer (late August – March), pack a flashlight as you can go on a short night stroll to see nocturnal animal life. BF
