15 Days Grand Namibia Tour Package Tour Itinerary  Day 1 - Windhoek. Depart Windhoek and drive via Rehoboth into Kalahari Desert. A scenic drive will be undertaken towards sunset in open vehicles. Auob Lodge or similar. D Day 2 - Kalahari Desert to Fish River Canyon. Drive through the Kalahari, and visit the Quiver tree forest near Keetmanshoop. Continue via Naute Dam, and see the Fish River Canyon's spectacular northern fringes. Canon Lodge or similar. BD Day 3 - Fish River Canyon to Luderitz. Continue towards coast via Aus. It is possible to see the desert adapted horses upon entering the Namib Desert. Enjoy spectacular scenery on the way to L?z and arrive around midday. Scenic drive around the southern peninsula in the afternoon. Nest Hotel or similar. BD Day 4 - Luderitz to Maltahohe. Visit Kolmanskop, a deserted diamond town and museum. Visit Duwisib Castle in the afternoon. Continue on to Maltah?region. Hammerstein Rest Camp or similar. BD Day 5 - Maltahohe to Namib Naukluft Park. Early visit to Sossusvlei, where a scenic drive is undertaken with 4x4 vehicles into the heart of the Namib Desert. Visit Sesriem Canyon and Solitaire village en-route past Namib Naukluft Mountains. Rockstock Ritz Desert Lodge or similar. BD Day 6 - Namib Naukluft Park to Swakopmund. Drive through Kuiseb Canyon and continue towards the coast. Enroute, stop for lunch. Visit ?Welwitschia mirabilis?, a plant that is said to grow older than 1000 years. See Moon landscape and Walvis Bay before arriving in Swakopmund in the late afternoon. Hansa Hotel or similar (3 nights). BLD Day 7 - At Leisure. Enjoy a day at leisure in Swakopmund. You may wish to book an optional day tour in Swakopmund. B Day 8 - Swakopmund. Enjoy the splendours and many attractions of Swakopmund. The group who booked the Northern Tour will join you during the afternoon. BD Day 9 - Swakopmund to Damaraland. Early morning departure on the salt road towards Henties Bay. Visit Twyfelfontein and the Petrified Forest on the way into Damaraland. Lunch en-route. Afternoon arrival at the lodge. Palmwag Lodge or similar (2 nights). BLD Day 10 - In Damaraland. Full day outing with the guides of the lodge. Guides will introduce the rich flora and fauna of this seemingly lifeless semi-desert. Spend the day in search of the elusive Desert Rhino and Desert Elephant. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon. Optional tours available upon advance booking. BLD Day 11 - Damaraland to Otjiwarongo. Depart Damaraland, and continue via Kamanjab to the little town of Outjo. From here, proceed to a private game farm where a game drive will be undertaken in the late afternoon. Mount Etjo Safari Lodge or similar. BD Day 12 - Otjiwarongo to Etosha National Park. After an optional early morning game drive, join the group arriving from Windhoek. Continue via Outjo into Etosha National Park, and undertake the first game drive in a vehicle en-route to a rest camp. Rest Camp or Privately Owned Lodge (2 nights). BD Day 13 - Etosha National Park. The entire day will be spent in the park, exploring the waterholes along this enormous salt pan. Stop for lunch at one of the rest camps (not included). BD  Day 14 - Etosha National Park. More explorations in this world famous National Park. A guide will introduce the complex subject of managing such an enormous reserve. Stop for lunch at one of the rest camps (not included). Leave the park in the late afternoon. Mokuti Lodge or similar. BD Day 15 - Lake Otjikoto to Windhoek. Visit Lake Otjikoto and the mine museum in Tsumeb. Join the group en-route to Victoria Falls. Continue towards Windhoek via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja. Visit the Herero graves and a local handicraft market. The tour ends on arrival in Windhoek in the late afternoon.
