Seek out the 'Big Five' in the Kruger National Park in open safari vehicles, view spectacular coastal scenery at the Cape of Good Hope and enjoy wine tasting at well known wine estates.

Day 2. Johannesburg to Mpumalanga / Kruger National Park After an early breakfast, you will be collected from your hotel and whisked off to the world famous Kruger National Park via Hazyview, where your safari begins, as you board an open safari vehicle. Game sightings abound virtually from the moment you enter this extraordinary reserve. Enjoy your first night in this unique patch of African wilderness. Kruger Rest Camp or similar (2 nights) BD

Day 3. Kruger National Park With an entire day in Kruger ahead, we adapt your behaviour to that of the animals: set off on a dawn safari, retire to the camp for a soothing midday siesta, and then enjoy a late afternoon game drive. BD

Day 4. Kruger National Park to Johannesburg There's time to savour another sunrise safari then tuck into a hearty breakfast before returning to camp around mid morning. We leave the reserve and travel back to Johannesburg, arriving at about 19h00. Metcourt Laurel Hotel or similar B

Day 5. Cape Town It's off to Cape Town this morning (flight not included). Upon arrival in Cape Town you will be transferred to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure exploring the joys of the 'Mother City'. A perfect opportunity to visit the V&A Waterfront or take the cable car up Table Mountain. Protea Hotel President or similar (3 nights) B

Day 6. Cape of Good Hope Enjoy a full day sightseeing in the world's hottest tourist destination. Much of our journey is along the achingly beautiful coastline, with majestic views of mountain and ocean. We visit Cape Point, one of the best spots in Cape Town for spotting whales and dolphins. On our return to the city we drive through the quaint naval village of Simons Town. B

Day 7. Cape Winelands We tour the Cape's famous wine making country, visiting two well known estates for wine tastings. B

Day 8. Depart Cape Town Spend the day at leisure until your transfer to the airport. B 

Not Included

The flight between Johannesburg and Cape Town, or vice versa, is not included.

Transportation

Tour in air-conditioned micro-buses or 18-seater mini-buses, and in 10-seater open safari vehicles while in the Kruger National Park.

NOTE: This tour can be run in reverse, to start in Cape Town ending in Johannesburg. The internal flight between Johannesburg and Cape Town, on Day 5, is not included but can be arranged by  Africa Experts. Dependant on the day of departure, the Cape Peninsula and Winelands Tour may be swapped around to fit scheduled dates of departure.
