Tanzania is a land of superlatives: the deepest, the highest, the largest, and the oldest. On this eight-night safari explore the Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, which make up the famed “Northern Circuit,” arguably the highlight of Tanzania.

Your transition into Tanzania begins at the Arusha Coffee Lodge, a peaceful refuge located on the outskirts of Arusha. In town, several sightseeing and shopping options may tempt you, or simply relax by the pool.

Then it is off to Tarangire National Park, home to a sizeable number of elephant. During your stay at Tarangire Treetops embark on day and night game drives, bush walks, sundowners and bush breakfasts. You may also choose to visit one of the local Maasai villages nearby.

From Tarangire, drive via Lake Manyara to the Ngorongoro Crater for a stay at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge on the crater rim. Explore the crater floor during game drives or exhilarating walks in the crater highlands.

A flight from Manyara brings you to the Serengeti National Park and Migration Camp. Here, view the Great Wildebeest Migration in the vast Serengeti or relax and enjoy your camp overlooking the Grumeti River and the surrounding kopjes (rocky outcrops).

Day 2-3
Fly to Tarangire National Park, game-viewing activities, Tarangire Treetops.

Day 4-5
Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, game-viewing, Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 6
Drive to Manyara and fly to Lobo in the Serengeti,  Migration Camp.

Days 7-8
Game-viewing activities in the Serengeti National Park, Migration Camp.
 
Day 9
Fly to Arusha and depart.
