Explore Tarangire National Park where the Tarangire River provides year-round water for the animals, sleeping in tents on large, raised decks under umbrella acacia trees. Spend your day viewing game, then picnic among the acacia trees of the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the greatest animal habitats in Africa and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stop at Olduvai Gorge on your way to Serengeti National Park. Take the opportunity to deliver school supplies to a local school or sample fresh honey from a village beekeeper.

Days 1-2: USA or Canada/Arusha, Tanzania

On arrival in Arusha you are met and transferred to your lodge.

Days 3-4: Arusha/Tarangire National Park

Today you drive to Tarangire National Park, where you spend the next two Day. Located on the southwestern side of Tarangire National Park, Swala Camp's large tents are built on raised decks under umbrella acacia trees overlooking the Gurusi flood plains. The Tarangire River runs through the center of the park and provides a year-round supply of water to the animals. Bird watching is exceptional in the park's diverse habitats, from palm groves to acacia woodlands, and you may spot a bateleur or martial eagle during your stay.

**You will also have the opportunity to visit a primary school or beekeeping project.

Day 5: Tarangire National Park/Ngorongoro Crater
Drive through Lake Manyara with game viewing and a picnic lunch en route. Continue on to your intimate safari lodge located in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
The Ngorongoro Crater, a huge natural "amphitheater" created by the collapse of an ancient volcano, is one of Africa's most fascinating wildlife areas. Spend your Daygame viewing. Break for a picnic lunch set in a beautiful yellow acacia woodland, offering natural shade.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater/Serengeti National Park
Leaving the Ngorongoro Crater, head west to Serengeti National Park. En route, stop at Olduvai Gorge for a guided visit of this famous archaeological site.

You have a full Dayof game viewing here in the Serengeti. Rivers flow through the park, providing habitats for a variety of birds, mammals and reptiles.

Day9-10: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast drive north to the Northern Serengeti with game driving en route. Northern Serengeti is an area that offers a wooded and hilly landscape, making wildlife viewing spectacular. Arrive at your luxurious camp, situated among the rocky outcrops. Enjoy two Dayof game viewing with morning and afternoon game drives and fascinating bush walks.

Day 11: Serengeti National Park/Arusha/USA or Canada
Say goodbye to your camp staff before boarding a flight from the Serengeti to Arusha where the balance of your afternoon is at leisure. A dayroom is provided for your comfort and convenience until your transfer to the airport for your late evening departure.
