Hotel Kumarakom Lake Resort is situated on the banks of the picturesque Vembanad Lake, hotel provides a large waterfront. All cottages are independent an are built in a traditionally Kerala style from various cultural areas, some of the cottages are very old. These have been transferred with care and relocated in the Resort. Each has a history, available for guest to read and carry home.

Accommodation

Guests have to chosse form 50 double-bedded, spacious, elegantly decorated, centrally air-conditioned traditional cottages doting the 25 acres of greenery. Hotel is proudly serving atleast 250 guests per day. Each ethnic cottage overlook silvery canals, punctuated with translucent lotuses, slicing the front yard. Or the mesmerising Vembanad itself. Each cottage, hs been painstakingly restored and relocated from 'Illums' (homesteads of yore), immerse you in the splendour and grandeur of Kerala's magnificent history, life and culture.

Restaurants

Ettukettu - The Speciality Restaurant
Holding regal court is the Ettukettu, a multi cuisine 115 seater Speciality Restaurant (A/c and non A/c). It occupies a pride of place at the centre of the complex and lining one corner is the well appointed bar.
Stroll leisurely down the verdant lawns to this magnificent traditional structure which formerly housed a noble family. Park yourself and choose from a choice ranging from Continental, Chinese, Muglai, North Indian or Traditional Kerala cooking.

Coffee shop
Anytime you feel like a nibble, make thee to the coffee shop. Hot pakodas, samosas, dosas and hot steaming coffee, your favourite soft drink or a variety of ice-creams.

Outdoor barbecue
How about a barbecue?
In a golden sunset, under starry skies,under swaying palms on a moonlit night. Right beside the pool to the side of the Arts Centre (where the cultural performances are staged). Enjoy tasty Kebabs while you watch Gods take centre stage. You might also enjoy the performance of a live band!

Conference Facilities
Kumarakom Lake Resort has a well-equipped residential conference facilities and a Board Room.. Separate from the cottages, close to the Nalukettu Restaurant. The room can comfortably accommodate 110 persons. Facilities include sound systems, overhead & multimedia projectors.

Dharma Ayurvedic Haven

Dharma Ayurvedic Haven manages the Ayurvedic Centre at the Kumarakom Lake Resort. The centre has qualified doctors and trained personnel.
Dharma Ayurvedic Haven was established in 1965 by a family of renowned traditional physicians practising the Dravidian style of Ayurveda for centuries through generations. Today, Dharma is trusted as an exclusive centre where genuine age-old traditions and treatments are still practised by highly qualified and reputed physicians. Dharma has frequently been in the news for creating remarkable results in succession by curing patients from illnesses unresponsive to modern medicines and treatments.
