Duration: 3 Days / 2 Nights
Priced From: Contact Travelwizard
Departures: Daily

Takayama is a city in the mountainous Hida region of Gifu Prefecture, which has retained a traditional touch like few other Japanese cities, especially in its beautifully preserved old town.
Kanazawa's importance grew in the 15th century, when the powerful and militant Ikko sect established its new headquarters there after being chased out of Kyoto by the monks of Mt.Hiei.
Combine the essence of both these Japanese jewels. The samurai, the merchants, the geisha, and the lords have all left their mark in both cities.
