Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Singapore. On arrival in this ultra-modern island country, you will be met by our representative and transferred to the Raffles Hotel. Balance of the day is free.
Day 2
Singapore sightseeing. An orientation tour of our city which begins with a drive past the "colonial heart" for a view of Padang, Cricket Club, Parliament House, Supreme Court and City Hall. Next, we head to Mount Faber for a panoramic view of the city. This is followed by a visit to a local handicraft centre before arriving at the National Orchid Garden located within the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Our final stop at Little India will entrance you with the scent of joss sticks, jasmine and spices. The afternoon is free for shopping. B
Day 3
Depart Singapore. The day is at leisure until your transfer to the railway station to board the Eastern & Oriental Express. Cross to Malaysia via the causeway over the Straits of Johor, and enjoy lunch as the scenery passes by. Afternoon tea served in your compartment. Dinner and a relaxing evening in the Bar Car with its resident pianist.

Day 4
Eastern & Oriental Express. Breakfast in your compartment before arriving in Butterworth. Morning guided excursion to colonial Georgetown, Penang, including an introductory tour of the historic town and Fort Cornwallis, part by trishaw. Lunch on board. View the changing scenery from the Observation Car as the train crosses into Thailand. BLD
Day 5
Arrive Bangkok. Morning visit to the River Kwai and a boat excursion along the river. Lunch on board before arrival in Bangkok mid afternoon. You will be met by representative and transferred to the Oriental Hotel. The balance of day at leisure. BL
Day 6
Touring Bangkok. Visit the famous Grand Palace and glorious temples including the Reclining Buddha. The afternoon is free. This evening experience an authentic Thai dinner, cultural performances and classical dances in a beautifully decorated Thai style house. BD
Day 7
Touring Bangkok. Today's full day sightseeing includes a visit to Thailand's most colourful Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Afternoon visit to the Rose Garden to enjoy a Thai cultural show, including sword fighting and Thai boxing. BL
Day 8
Bangkok to Hong Kong. The day is free until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight Hong Kong. Welcome to the Orient's super city. You will be met by representative and transferred to the Peninsula Hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure. B
Day 9
Hong Kong sightseeing. In Hong Kong there is something new around every corner. This morning's sightseeing tour includes Victoria Peak with its magnificent views. The afternoon is free for that favourite pastime of Hong Kong visitors, shopping. B
Day 10
Hong Kong to your next stop. Today is at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your onward flight. If you can, why not stay longer? How about a visit to mainland China or Macau? See links for other ideas. B
