This tour begins in Lhasa, nestled high on the Tibetan Plateau at 11,900 feet. Travel along the stunning turquoise Yamdrok Lake and then onwards to the towns of Gyantse and Shigatse giving you the opportunity to take in some incredible views as well as visit some fascinating monasteries and villages along the way.

Day 3
Explore the Potala Palace, Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and Jokang Temple, Four Points by Sheraton Hotel.
Day 4
Drive along the shore of Lake Yamdrok to Gyantse, Gyantse Hotel.
Day 5
Drive to Shigatse with sights en route, Mansarovar Hotel.
Day 6
Return to Lhasa along the Friendship Highway. Visit Norbulingka, Four Points by Sheraton Hotel.
Day 7
Visit Ganden Monastery and traditional villages, Four Points by Sheraton Hotel.
Day 8
Depart Lhasa.
