Pass through Longford and on to Campbell Town across the Macquarie River. The cycling is easy, with plenty of distance to cover if you wish.
Cycle east to Swansea, with the optional challenge of a long uphill haul, before a magnificent downhill cycle to the beautiful and rugged east coast.
From Swansea, cycle across Dolphin Sands to Freycinet National Park, and spend the afternoon exploring the cliffs and white sand beaches.
A spectacular ride down the coast takes us to Mayfield, then it's on to the peaceful, yet melancholy ruins of the Port Arthur penal settlement. We explore the historic site and the coastal scenery before heading north to historic Richmond, with its beautifully restored buildings.
Your last ride is in to Hobart where you explore the sights. Because cycling builds up an appetite, you eat in style – it might be a gourmet meal created by our guides, more often it is a repast prepared by one of Tasmania's famous regional restaurants.
You will be accompanied throughout by a minibus which will allow you to cycle as much or as little as you wish, and we will transport you past the busier roads. Come and explore Tasmania in style on the Heritage Cycle.
