Day 1. Sydney - Hunter Valley. Depart your Sydney accommodation and travel north over the Harbour Bridge, past the Hawkesbury River and then through contrasting rural farmland, Australian native bush, mountain ranges and grazing land. Your journey takes you over Mt View where you gain a panoramic perspective of the Hunter Valley wine areas. From here, adjourn to a renowned Vineyard Café to enjoy lunch. During the afternoon take the opportunity to sample some of the Hunter Valley's famous wines at 2 respected boutique wineries and have the opportunity to purchase wines that are not available anywhere else. Arrive at your accommodation at approx. 2:30pm with the remainder of the afternoon free to relax. L
