Day 1. Adelaide to Barossa Valley Arrive in Adelaide and collect your rental vehicle. Today takes you to South Australia's premier wine growing region of the Barossa Valley. Overnight accommodation: Peppers Hermitage of Marananga in a vineyard spa room with breakfast (3 nights).

Day 2. Barossa Valley Day at leisure to explore the beautiful Barossa Valley. Perhaps a Barossa Valley Balloon Flight tempts you or choose from around 50 wineries - the brown and white roadside signs will advise you in advance of where the wineries are.

Day 3. Barossa Valley Another day at leisure to continue exploring the Barossa Valley. You may like to choose a quiet riverside park, or head into the ranges for a view. Alternatively, you may like to try some of the local restaurants specializing in local produce and wines.

Day 4. Barossa Valley to McLaren Vale Journey south today to the McLaren Vale region but a quick stop at Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills is a must. Overnight accommodation: Quality Hotel St Francis Winery Resort (2 nights).

Day 5. McLaren Vale A full day at leisure to enjoy around the McLaren Vale. McLaren Vale is now on the world wine map, the focal point (along with McLaren Flat) for a network of 50 wineries - some grand and of historic importance others new boutique wineries - whose products have been internationally acclaimed and consumed.

Day 6. McLaren Vale to Adelaide Depart McLaren Vale today and head back to Adelaide and drop off your rental vehicle.
