Itinerary
DAY 1 Whistler
Your motorcoach adventure begins this morning departing from Vancouver International Airport or selected downtown hotels, along the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler. A free afternoon will provide opportunity to explore all that this bustling resort town has to offer, before spending the night in your selected Whistler hotel.
DAY 2 Lac Le Jeune
A late morning departure from Whistler will take you eastbound into the interior of British Columbia. Travel through the scenic mountain ranges and glaciers of Duffey Lake Road with a lunch stop at the historic village of Lillooet. Continue on through Cache Creek and Kamloops areas to arrive at Lac Le Jeune Resort in time for your evening dinner.
DAY 3 Lake Louise
After breakfast, a morning departure from Lac Le Jeune will take you onwards towards the Canadian Rockies. After a lunch stop in Revelstoke, your motorcoach journey will continue over the Kicking Horse Pass and the Continental Divide to arrive at Lake Louise, the 'Jewel of the Rockies' for your evening stay.
DAY 4 Jasper
Today your journey will take you northwards along the Icefields Parkway. After a stop at the Athabasca Glacier including an interpretive tour on the Ice Explorer (seasonal*), you will continue on to Jasper for your overnight accommodation.
DAY 5 Banff
A morning excursion of Jasper will include many fantastic sights including Pyramid Lake, Medicine Lake and Maligne Canyon. This afternoon depart Jasper and travel to the resort town of Banff, via express motorcoach.
DAY 6 Banff
This morning's excursion takes you through the town of Banff and it's environs. You'll ascend Tunnel Mountain drive to view Bow Falls and visit the Cave and Basin National Historic Site where a natural hot springs led to the creation of Canada's first National Park in 1885. Take a mid morning stroll along Lake Minnewanka or 'Lake of the Spirits' to refresh yourself prior to you final stop at the Banff Gondola where you'll will expereince a 360-degree panoramic sea of mountain ranges, valleys and lakes. Also included is admission to the Whyte Museum to learn more about the people and wildlife that reside in Banff National Park and surrounding areas.
DAY 7 Calgary
Today you will end your journey with a transfer to Calgary International Airport or downtown Calgary.
This vacation is available in reverse, departing from Calgary. Additional hotel nights are available in Calgary and Vancouver. *When day tours or attractions are not operational in the off-season, the price will be adjusted or there will an alternative excursion/attraction made available.
