Every fall, scores of polar bears gather along the western shore of the Hudson Bay near Churchill, Manitoba, the "Polar Bear Capital of the World". Join the many wildlife lovers who have travelled from all over the world to witness and photograph this remarkable event.
VACATION FEATURES:
5 nights accommodation, 2 days of Tundra Buggy touring, 2 lunches, all Churchill transfers, round trip flights from either Vancouver or Toronto to Winnipeg, then on to Churchill, hotel luggage handling.
Itinerary
DAY 1 Winnipeg
Today you will fly (from Vancouver or Toronto) to Winnipeg, MB then transfer to your Winnipeg hotel (not included) and spend one night in Winnipeg.
DAY 2 Churchill
This morning, transfer to the airport (not included) where you will take a flight to Churchill. You will be met by a guide for a town & area tour, take a visit to the Eskimo Museum, then transfer to your Churchill hotel your first overnight stay.
DAY 3 Churchill
Your day will be filled with a Tundra Buggy tour and lunch out on the Tundra. Return to Churchill for a slide show presentation and your overnight stay.
DAY 4 Churchill
This is your last day spent in a Tundra Buggy to view the spectacular polar bears in their own habitat. You will enjoy an included lunch on the tour and this evening's dinner is included with your group. Overnight in Churchill.
DAY 5 Winnipeg
Spend this morning on a dogsledding adventure. Afterwards you'll have the afternoon visit to the Parks Canada Interpretive Centre. Your flight back to Winnipeg departs late this evening. Overnight in Winnipeg.
DAY 6 Vancouver or Toronto
Today you will take your return flight to either Vancouver or Toronto.
