It is from the Continental Divide in the Canadian Rockies that waters flow west to the Pacific Ocean and Hudson's Bay. It is from here that you will experience the incredible views of the Canadian Rockies. Witness this non-stop alpine splendor from the freedom and relaxation of your own rental car explorations and the romance of 'Rocky Mountaineer' rail travel.

VACATION FEATURES:
5 nights accommodation, Rocky Mountaineer 'Redleaf' class (4 meals onboard), Mid-size vehicle rental, Banff Gondola, Upper Hot Springs, transfers in Kamloops, hotel luggage handling, National Park fees and gratuities on included meals.

Itinerary

DAY 1 and 2 Lake Louise
Pick up your rental vehicle when you arrive at the Calgary International Airport. Drive through the rolling foothills and the Rocky Mountains - your destination is spectacular Lake Louise. On Day 2, you can explore your surroundings, or drive to nearby Moraine Lake or Yoho National Park.

DAY 3 Banff
Today drive to world-famous Banff National Park. Once there, be sure to save time for a ride on Banff Gondola, and the warm Upper Hot Springs pool.

DAY 4 and 5 'Rocky Mountaineer' to Kamloops and Vancouver
Drop your rental vehicle at the Banff rail station and board the "Rocky Mountaineer", bound for Vancouver with an overnight stay in Kamloops. En route you'll see the Kicking Horse Canyon, the amazing bridges of the Rogers Pass area, the roaring waters of the Fraser River at Hell's Gate, and the narrow gorge of the Fraser Canyon. Upon arrival in the west coast city of Vancouver transfer (included) via taxi to your hotel.

DAY 6 Vancouver Departure
A morning check out completes your Continental Divide vacation.
