Itinerary
DAY 1 Vancouver
Upon arrival in Vancouver transfer (not included) to your downtown hotel.
DAY 2 Kamloops
Start off your day onboard 'Rocky Mountaineer' to Kamloops. Spectacular views abound as you travel through the Coastal Mountains, Fraser Valley and Hell's Gate. Arrive in Kamloops in the late afternoon for your overnight.(Breakfast and lunch are included on the train)
DAY 3 Banff
This morning, you will be transferred to the Kamloops train station to reboard the 'Rocky Mountaineer' on your way to Banff. (Breakfast and lunch are included on the train) Travel along the South Thompson River, Kicking Horse Pass and through the Spiral Tunnels into Banff National Park. Upon arrival in Banff, pick up your car rental and transfer to your hotel. Don't forget to visit the Upper Hot Springs (admission included).
DAY 4 Lake Louise
This morning, take a ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain and enjoy the view. Later, drive to the "Jewel of the Rockies": Lake Louise.
DAY 5 Lake Louise
Spend the day exploring Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the Yoho Valley.
DAY 6 Calgary
Drive to Calgary today and return your car to either the Calgary International Airport or downtown Hertz location.
This vacation is available in reverse, departing from Calgary.
