Itinerary Day 1 - Halifax Explore the sight of Halifax, then can get acquainted with your fellow travellers by private welcome reception and dinner at Westin Nova Scotia. Hotel: Westin Nova Scotia Meals: Dinner Day 2 - Halifax-Montreal - The Ocean Enjoy a morning at leisure then board Via Rail’s train, The Ocean, for the overnight journey to Montreal. Indulge in a delicious dinner on board, then close your eyes and listen to the soft rumbling of the train as you drift off into a peaceful sleep. Train: The Ocean Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Day 3 - Montreal–Toronto Arrive in Montreal in the morning and board Via Rail's first class service for your journey towards to Toronto, Ontario in mid-afternoon. On our arrival in Toronto, we check into the Fairmont Royal York and enjoy dinner and a relaxing evening. Hotel: Fairmont Royal York Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Day 4,5 - Toronto, Ontario - Board 'Canadian' After breakfast at the Hotel, today we board Canadian and continue on our journey west. Train: Canadian Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Day 6 & 7 - Jasper Alberta Nestled at the edge of Jasper National Park, overlooking the majestic Rocky Mountains, sits the Overlander Mountain Lodge. This jewel in the Canadian Rockies offers spectacular views, gourmet dining and ultra comfortable lodging. Warm hospitality and a casual yet cozy atmosphere are combined here in a mountain setting of unique natural beauty. The Lodge provides a variety of accommodation for the perfect Mountain Getaway, where televisions and telephones have been excluded to ensure a peaceful and relaxing stay. On our full day in Jasper we will have an excursion along the Icefields Parkway to Banff.
