Itinerary
DAY 1 Vancouver
Upon arrival in Vancouver, transfer to your downtown Vancouver hotel (transfer not included).
DAY 2 Vancouver
A morning sightseeing excursion will start off your day in Vancouver with visits to Chinatown, Gastown and Stanley Park. The remainder of your day is at leisure.
DAY 3 Victoria
Enjoy a full-day motorcoach excursion to Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia. You will board a ferry for the spectacular 90 minute cruise through B.C.'s Gulf Islands to Vancouver Island. Once on the island, you will visit the world-renowned Butchart Gardens as well as several of Victoria's scenic and historic highlights. The remainder of your day is at leisure.
DAY 4 Vancouver
Your morning is at leisure for perhaps more sightseeing on your own or to explore the many shops and sidewalk cafes. Late this afternoon, transfer once again to the ferry terminal and board the ferry back to British Columbia's mainland. You will be transferred to your chosen Vancouver hotel.
DAY 5 Whistler
Today will start with a morning departure from Vancouver along the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler.
DAY 6 Lac Le Jeune
Your journey begins today with a morning departure eastwards into interior British Columbia. A lunch stop at the historic village of Lillooet and then on to Lac Le Jeune Resort in time for evening dinner.
DAY 7 Banff
After breakfast, a morning departure from Lac Le Jeune will take you eastbound towards the Canadian Rockies. After passing through the Shuswap Lake area, Salmon Arm and Sicamous, you will arrive in Revelstoke in time for lunch. After lunch, your motorcoach journey will continue over the Kicking Horse Pass and Continental Divide with a brief stop in Lake Louise, the "Jewel of the Rockies" and onto the alpine town of Banff.
DAY 8 Calgary
This morning's guided excursion takes you through the town of Banff and its environs. A visit to the Cave and Basin National Historic Site is included. Finally, an afternoon departure from Banff will take you through the rolling Alberta foothills to the Stampede town of Calgary. Your vacation concludes with a transfer to the Calgary International Airport or select downtown hotels.
This vacation is available in reverse, departing from Calgary. Additional hotel nights are available in Calgary and Vancouver.
