Island Lake Lodge Accommodations

Perched above a picturesque mountain lake, the three lodges, The Red Eagle, Cedar and Tamarack Lodges, sleep up to 48 guests in 26 rooms.
 
The Red Eagle
Named for the chief who lifted the curse on the Elk Valley, The Red Eagle lodge has 10 cozy rooms with ensuite bathrooms. The lodge features an outdoor hot tub on a large deck off the main level providing great views of the mountains, lake and forest. There are comfortable living rooms on both the upper and main floor.  

The Cedar
The Cedar lodge features eight deluxe guest rooms including spacious ensuite bathrooms with a soaker tub and shower, queen beds and a deck off of each room. The lodge features a living room with fireplace, the Cedar Yoga Studio, and a covered deck with a hot tub to soak your tired muscles after a vigorous day outdoors.

The Tamarack
The Tamarack lodge built in 2005 boasts amazing views of the surrounding mountains. The eight deluxe guest rooms have spacious ensuite bathrooms with a soaker tub and shower, and a combination of queen and king beds. The lodge includes a spectacular 60 seat dining room, with a 3,000 bottle wine library. The lodge also features the elegant Spa at Island Lake.

There are no phones, computer jacks or tv’s in guestrooms

From hearty breakfasts to fine dining in a remote mountain lodge, we do our best to make a lasting impression on you during your stay. Island Lake Lodge provides the whole package; spectacular mountains, incredible forests, beautiful lakes and an unbelievable dining experience. While you spend the day taking in all the mountains have to offer, our chefs are planning and preparing an exquisite menu that is sure to be a highlight of your Island Lake holiday.

We encourage our chefs to expand their creative flare to make your mountain experience unforgettable. Gaining their education and experience from around the world, the culinary team sources international influences and top quality products to create an unforgettable dining experience. Creating a new set of menus every day (see sample below), our team is currently hard at work conceptualizing the incredible tastes they will create. All our chefs have a passion to cook and many are Red Seal certified. Stay tuned for our latest creations from our culinary team.

Wine Library
 
Dishes are brilliantly matched with an extensive and eclectic wine list. Collecting great wines from California, our neighboring Okanagan, Europe and the new world, our cellar is a proud representation of the quality we offer our guests. Explore a new vineyard's best or a tried and true classic from France or California. Our wine library is now complete in the new Tamarack lodge. If you have a special request for a specific bottle, please contact our reservations team and they will do their best to look after your request.

Island Lake Spa features five treatment rooms, a couple’s wellness room with deep Japanese soaking tub, retail boutique, change rooms and relaxation rooms. Take time before or after your treatment in our Solarium or Outdoor room with hot tub, spring shower and mountain views.
