Langara Fishing Lodge first introduced the world to the wonders of Langara Island over 20 years ago. Since then, the lodge has earned a reputation as the destination of choice for world-class salmon fishing, and offers a incredible adventure for any outdoor enthusiast.

Langara Fishing Lodge is nestled in a well-protected cove at Langara Island. The docks are just steps away from the lodge, providing immediate access to the boats and fishing grounds.

The lodge accommodates up to 65 guests in very comfortable, double occupancy rooms, all with ensuite washrooms. Lodge features include a well-appointed dining room, several spacious lounges with bar facilities, hot tubs and a steam room.

Our enthusiastic staff are always on hand to ensure you enjoy a first-class experience, both on and off the water.

Langara Fishing Lodge Dining

At Langara Fishing Lodge we take eating well very seriously.

When we first began operations over 20 years ago, we set out to redefined the concept of remote lodge dining by hiring professional chefs and sparing no effort to deliver the finest and freshest ingredients to our isolated location.

This tradition continues today under the leadership of Jean Peeters, our Executive Chef for over 14 years. A native of Rouen, France, Chef Jean combines the best of French and West Coast cuisines to create an experience designed to satisfy both an angler’s appetite and a gourmet’s palate.

Absolutely everything you eat on your trip is included in your package, as well as alcohol served with meals.

We can accommodate most dietary requirements and requests, but please inform us at least one week prior to your trip date.

Lodge Dining Room
Dress is casual, portions are plentiful, and no reservations are required in our Dining Room.

Unlike many other remote lodges, our Dining Room operates much like a restaurant. Every evening of your trip will feature a different menu, each presenting a five-course meal highlighted by up to 8 different entrée choices, and accompanied by a varying selection of fine wines.

Fine meals are available throughout the day, and, given the Lodge’s close proximity to the fishing grounds, a hot lunch or mid-morning breakfast is always just a few minutes away.

Coho Cafe
The Lodge sweet-spot, the Coho Café serves up a 24-hour-a-day selection of desserts, sweets and treats prepared by our own pastry chef, as well as coffee, cappuccino, espresso, and teas.

Bacon Bistro
Join us on the beach for a casual lunch of succulent slow-roasted whole pig and salmon-fillet burgers. The Bacon Bistro is open one day of each trip on the shore of Henslung Cove, just a short walk from the Lodge.

On The water
You won't go hungry if the fishing is too good to come in — our patrolling boats deliver food and drinks throughout the day.
