Hawksbill is a unique and special Caribbean hideaway that you won’t want to leave. Set in 37 acres of landscaped tropical gardens, the resort offers its guests a choice of four secluded beaches, including Antigua’s only ‘clothing optional’ beach. So if you love the beach, Hawksbill is the perfect place for you.

The resort offers a wide range of accommodation choices, including detached cottages set amongst the palms, or looking out across the sea. For larger parties, the colonial-style Great House on the tip of the Hawksbill peninsula, is a private suite with its own kitchen-bar, three bedrooms and panoramic sea views.

During the day, there are a wide variety of activities to enjoy, either on the beaches or around the pool, as well as tennis. Whilst in the evening, Hawksbill has a wide choice of activities. The Tamarind Tree is a simple yet elegant outdoor restaurant serving a local and international buffet-style menu. Hawksbill’s a la carte restaurant, Il Vigento Su Mare, provides a taste of Italy with pasta specialities and superb lobster (advance reservation required). Evening entertainment, scheduled for certain nights of the week, is authentically Antiguan and located in the friendly and informal Tamarind Bar, with its panoramic views of the sea.

Eating Out

You are welcome to dine out at one of our other resorts in Antigua and the staff at reception will be happy to make a reservation for you. Why not try The Heron Restaurant at Blue Heron or Warri Pier at Halcyon Cove? Located on its own jetty in the sea, Warri Pier is the perfect place for a really special evening out (closed on Sundays).

Evening Dress Code

At Hawksbill we dress for dinner (smart-casual), and men must wear collared shirts and long trousers in all bars and restaurants in the evening. Please feel free to wear t-shirts, shorts and beach wraps at breakfast, lunch afternoon tea and at the beach barbecue.

With four separate beaches enveloping 37 acres of tropical grounds, Hawksbill is a destination in itself. For an extra special honeymoon for two, stay in one of the resort's intimate cottages right on the beach, and invite your guests to stay at the Great House, a three-bedroomed self-contained suite with panoramic views of the beautiful Caribbean coast.

Babies & Toddlers
We can provide high chairs and cots and our staff will happily provide any necessary assistance to help you prepare food and milk.

Babysitting
For your convenience, we can arrange babysitting services. These are paid for locally and 24-hours notice is required. In addition to an hourly rate, you may be required to cover the travel costs of the babysitter, particularly if you plan to stay out late.

Accommodation
The room categories at Hawksbill accommodate a varying number of children: Garden Rooms will accommodate a maximum 2 adults plus 1 child; Superior Seaview rooms in the Main Building will accommodate a maximum 2 adults plus 2 children but only 2 adults in the bungalows on Sea Grapes Beach; Beach Club Rooms on Royal Palm Beach will accommodate a maximum 2 adults plus 2 children and on Honeymoon Cove only 2 adults. Interconnecting Superior Seaview Rooms in the Main Building and Beach Club Rooms on Royal Palm Beach are available upon request.
