Divers, anglers, and golfers especially like this family-friendly resort. Resembling a small village, the 1,384-acre property has its own marina, restaurants, and a PADI dive shop. Nine of the golf course's 18 holes lie parallel to the sea, and guests have plenty of space to stretch out comfortably on the 3.5 miles of beach.
Treasure Cay Hotel Resort & Marina is part of a quaint Bahamian village known as Treasure Cay, located less than 200 miles from the east coast of Florida on the island of Abaco in the Bahamas. Golfers delight in the challenging 18 hole, 6985 yard championship golf course designed by Dick Wilson, while boaters cruise over to experience all the services offered at the 150 slip marina. For added recreation, fishing, boat rentals, scuba diving, snorkeling and a wide variety of water-sports are available.

Treasure Cay Hotel Resort and Marina Activities

Beaches The natural beauty and pristine waters are major attractions to living in or visiting Treasure Cay. Treasure Cay Beach is the most sparkling natural feature on the island of Abaco. Breathtaking is the only word for this world-renowned beach; a 3.5-mile stretch of powdery white sand, matched only in brilliance by the turquoise water caressing its shore. There are no pictures that can prepare a visitor for the awesome site of this beach…its size, its white powdery sand and those beautiful blue waters. With all that and no crowds, there's plenty of room to create your own private paradise

Fishing
Abaco is home to some of the best fishing in the Bahamas! Try your luck with bonefish, snapper, grouper, dolphin (dorado or mahi-mahi), tuna and blue marlin
Diving
Action-oriented experiences include snorkeling and scuba diving with Treasure Divers, a newly refurbished, re-equipped PADI certified dive operation specializing in a variety of adventures. Divers experience a labyrinth of reefs and formations to a number of ship wrecks and caves. Each dive trip includes a guided underwater tour of the dive site on the world’s third largest barrier reef. In many locations the reef rises to the surface, so both dive and snorkel excursions will experience the underwater world together. Non-divers are welcome to ride the boat. For those individuals on private or chartered vessels, arrangements may be made for a designated dive or snorkel rendezvous spot. Night, wreck, shark and dolphin observation dives are offered along with inland blue holes of Abaco.
Golf
The front nine runs parallel to the ocean at the north end of Treasure Cay Resort and plays relatively straight forward with two par fives of 555 and 500 yards from the white tees The back nine is tighter, requiring more precision and thought with slightly more water in lay. A couple of duck ponds (with interesting wildlife) represent minor hazards, particularly on number 11, a 515-yard par 5.
Despite its length, the course at Treasure Cay can be played inside three hours.
Golf carts are available and the course is generally uncrowded. No tee times are necessary. It can also be walked with pull cart by those with more time seeking a bit more exercise.
Weddings and Honeymoons
