Cobblers Cove, Barbados is an English Country House style hotel, with spacious comfortable rooms, courteous staff and excellent food. A member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux, Cobblers Cove is one of the best loved hotels in the Caribbean.

Cobblers Cove is located on the north west coast of Barbados within easy walking distance of Speightstown. This town has recently been revived and is now the home of a brand new luxury marina. There are also some excellent restaurants in the area and some fine examples of Barbadian architecture.

The white sand beach and calm, clear blue waters provide a relaxing haven. Other beaches close by are equally impressive. Watersports in the form of waterskiing, windsurfing and snorkeling are readily available.

Each of the 40 spacious suites have their own living areas, with balcony or patio, air conditioned bedrooms, bathroom and wet bar with drink-stocked refrigerator, tea and coffee-making facilities, towelling robes and English-style toiletries. Most have double connecting doors to the adjacent room. Sitting rooms have sofa beds ideal for a child. There are two two-bedroom Deluxe Suites, which are ideal for families or two couples travelling together.
 
The Camelot Suite  
Situated on the top floor in the main building are Camelot and Colleton Suites. Recognised as two of the finest suites in the Caribbean, they are designed and finished to the highest standards, giving maximum comfort.

Colleton Suite  
The Camelot and Colleton Suites await those seeking the ultimate in tropical luxury. Indeed, they are two of the finest hotel rooms in the Caribbean. Each one is appointed to the highest standards, complete with inviting sitting rooms and canopied beds, marble floorings and hand-painted furnishings, Jacuzzis and his and hers showers.

Ocean Front, Deluxe & Superior Garden Suites  
These spacious suites are the epitome of Caribbean-style comfort, attractively combining rattan furnishings, pretty cottons and terracotta tiles. The bedrooms are air-conditioned and the breeze-cooled sitting areas open onto private terraces or balconies. Ocean front suites have full sea views, Deluxe suites are located in the garden with partial sea views and Superior suites have garden views only.

Children's Activities At Cobblers Cove
With an array of activities available geared toward boys and girls, the Arts & Crafts program encourages children to create collages and jewelry from stones and seashells scavenged from the beach or create memorable scrapbooks of their Cobblers Cove vacation. Children can also learn how to create shadow puppets and later present a shadow puppet production for their parents.

The Arts and Crafts facility offers everything a child needs to create, imagine and play. Materials include paints, crayons, stencils,

card and paper etc. In addition there is a library of children’s books, a toy library and bean bags for reading.

For activities outside, Cobblers Cove offers children-friendly excursions to many of Barbados’ attractions including the Animal Sanctuary, Flower Forest, Ocean Park, and Graham Hall Nature Reserve. Spend the day at the beach swimming with sea turtles, hibiscus-hunt in the lush gardens and explore the natural grounds where mongoose and monkeys scamper about. The Resort is perfect for the busy family looking for quality time together as well as for parents who need a little alone time as children can keep themselves occupied through the Arts & Crafts activities. Arts & Crafts Room
There is a Children's Arts & Craft Room located at the south of the property for children 2 - 12 years. During Christmas, Easter, July and August supervision is available daily between 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Baby Sitting
We have a number of dedicated baby sitters who can be called upon to look after children at an additional cost. (24 hours notice appreciated.)

We have the following available upon request, at no additional charge: cribs, high chairs, children's books, toys, kettles.

Family Programme
We have a special programme for children between 2 - 12 years. All features listed below are available at no additional charge July 1st - August 26th.

• 2 half hours sailing lessons
• 2 hours of supervised children's activities
• Swim with turtles excursion
• Water sports including waterskiing, snorkeling, sunfish sailing and kayaking.

Children's Meals
Children are encouraged to have dinner between 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. A special balanced and nutritious children's menu is available at all times. Children under 5 are not permitted in the bar & lounge after 7:00 p.m.

The restaurant is situated at the edge of the beach and overlooks the Caribbean Sea ... the perfect setting for cuisine that merits both local and international awards. Mornings begin with full English breakfast, lunches are deliciously casual affairs, whilst candlelight encourages an elegant evening mood.

Bar
The poolside bar is opened from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. or later as required and serves refreshing drinks including the famous Cobblers Cooler.
  

Swimming Pool 
A fresh water swimming pool is located on the terrace adjacent to the bar. Take a swim in this glorious pool or relax poolside watching the palm trees swaying gently in the breeze.

Watersports  
Cobblers Cove is pleased to offer a range of complimentary watersports to resident guests:

• Windsurfing
• Snorkeling
• Kayaking

Guests should reserve the activities of their choice with the attendant at the watersport hut, located at the southern end of the hotel.

Scuba diving may also be arranged for an additional cost through the Attendant, so please ask. Cocktail and private cruises may be arranged through our Concierge for an additional charge

Tennis  
Use of the hotel's all weather floodlit court is complimentary to all resident guests. The court is of the Omni Court type and similar to playing on grass.

Golf 
Golf may be arranged through reception. Nearby are the renowned Sandy Lane golf courses.

Keep Fit Centre  
A Keep Fit Centre (Gym) is available to resident guests of the hotel. Designed in a traditional Bajan Chattel House style, this gym is located directly across the road from Cobblers Cove, adjacent to the gift shop.
