The hotel is primarily a couple-oriented resort during the high season, with children under 13 years being welcomed during the period of May 01 to October 31 inclusive each year.

Each room has a private balcony or terrace (14' x 6') with a stunning ocean view, along with lounges and a dining table ideal for a quiet in-room dinner.  Elegant touches such as marble bathrooms with separate shower, luxury toiletries and fresh flowers, complete the residential feel.  All rooms have lounge chairs which create a comfortable seating area, fully stocked mini bar, iron and ironing board, and high speed internet access.  Some rooms have the ability to interconnect, providing the ideal environment for guests or families travelling together.. Rooms can accommodate two adults. A child can be accommodated on an extra bed (as necessary) between the period of May 01 - October 31, each year.  From November 01 - April 30, the resort is an adult only environment.

Three Bedroom Villa
The Three Bedroom Villa is located next to the tennis courts and overlooks the pool, Cafe Taboras and the sea. The villa offers two bedrooms and a sitting area on the ground floor with views of the lush gardens. Spiral stairs lead to another bedroom on the upper level, which has an ocean view from the balcony. The villa can accommodate parties of six traveling together.

Golf

There are several world class golf courses on the island of Barbados. The Royal Westmoreland Golf Course is the closest to the hotel, and is a superb, 18-hole, 6,870-yard, par 72, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. championship golf course. Appropriate golf attire is required (knee length shorts). Carts are mandatory. No singles play available. Club and shoe rentals available. Please reserve tee time through the Concierge upon arrival.

Water Sports

Ocean swimming is at your doorstep in the beautiful turquoise waters of the Caribbean's west coast. The hotel is located on a 0.7 mile stretch of sandy beach. Alternatively, you can enjoy using our outdoor freshwater swimming pool as well as a heated jacuzzi (seats 8).Complimentary water sports include snorkeling, catamaran sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaks and sunfish sailing. Also available at a charge are scuba diving and deep-sea fishing.

Shopping in Barbados

The heart and soul of shopping in Barbados is Broad Street in the capital city, Bridgetown. There you will find several large department stores and duty-free shops. In addition to the specialty stores (such as jewelry stores), there are several shopping malls offering a wide variety of products and services.
Shopping in Barbados is by no means confined to Bridgetown. There are several smaller towns like Holetown, in St. James, and Speightstown, in St. Peter, that feature craft shops and gift shops. Several shopping malls and plazas are also located outside of Bridgetown.
Chattel Village shopping areas are becoming increasingly popular in Barbados. These feature shops made in traditional chattel-style house specialize in souvenirs, gift items, clothing and local arts and crafts. You can find these chattel villages at Holetown, St. James, and St. Lawrence Gap, Christ Church.
Duty-free shopping is especially popular, with prices typically being 30% to 50% less than in Europe and North America. When making duty-free purchases, be sure to have your passport and airline ticket with you. Your packages will be delivered to the airport or seaport.
