Cafe Luna is located open-air on the very roof of Little Arches! Run by Canadian executive chef / owner Mark DeGruchy, Cafe Luna offers breakfast (full breakfast is complimentary with stays of 7 nights or more), lunch and dinner with an international flair. Sundown cocktails are perfect after a hard day lounging by the waters edge, but equally intoxicating is the view from your table; overlooking the setting sun above the Caribbean Sea and the silver-white sands of Miami Beach. Practicing or discovering yoga while on vacation is a great way to improve in a relaxed environment. We offer daily yoga classes, which include a series of postures, balancing poses and breathing exercises. Classes are appropriate for beginners. A flow class ending with restorative postures that utilize multiple props to open, stretch, and relax the body. Sessions are held on our cliff-side garden overlooking the ocean.

Exchange your vows in our private wedding garden, set on a low coralstone cliff overlooking the Caribbean ocean and white sands of Miami Beach. We provide the perfect setting for intimate weddings in our al fresco restaurant; Cafe Luna, and welcome ceremonies at any time of day. Sunrise. lunch and dinner receptions are catered for. Should you opt for a sunset wedding, our Cliffside garden (suitable for small parties of 2-12) faces due west, affording you the most dramatic setting for your ceremony.
Meals are served in our unique rooftop restaurant, and we can reserve the entire restaurant for you wedding if you wish (rental fees will apply to wedding parties who wish to book the restaurant for their exclusive use). For smaller parties, we will create a special menu for your guests, and create an intimate area with floral arrangements and your own servers. Whatever your style of reception, we have the expertise to accommodate your tastes. From a simple wine and hors d'oeuvres service for two to a four course meal for your guests we will be delighted to work with you to create a memorable day. We serve a la carte meals for all parties or special personalized set menus if you prefer. Please see our sample menus for ideas; special requests can be discussed with your wedding coordinator.

Diving
"It’s amazing, you’d never guess by looking at the surface how busy it is down there." This quote from Lord Tebbit on his first ever, diving trip to Barbados in 1999. (Diver magazine August 1999.) Barbados lies in the Atlantic Ocean almost 100 miles to the east of the Windward Islands, and unlike its neighbouring islands, which are mostly volcanic, Barbados was built entirely out of coral.
The North and East coasts of Barbados, for most of the year take the full fury of the Atlantic Ocean, and the easterly trade winds. While this makes for spectacular scenery, the calmer west and south coasts are far more suitable for diving.
Whether you dive south or west, you are in for a treat. From Maycox Bay on the north-west coast to South Winds Fringe on the south-east, Barbados is home to many large pelagics such as Barracuda, Jacks of various species, Mackerel, and rays, Smaller, more rare varieties such as Frog fish, Sea horses, Flying Gunards, and Bat fish are also common sights in Barbados.
Barbados is also home to three species of turtles. The Hawksbill, Green, and Leatherback. During the summer months, April through November, turtles can also be seen nesting on our beaches.
The Barbados Sea Turtle project has an extensive program to monitor and protect this critically endangered species, including nightly beach patrols, and an in-water tagging operation.
Barbados has also been called by some, the shipwreck capital of the Caribbean. For after centuries of English colonization and visits you can find numerous souvenirs left behind, and a number of exciting shipwrecks.
Some of our more famous wrecks include the S.S. Stavronikita a 356’ (110mtr) freighter lying upright in 35 mtrs of water with the forward mast coming within 6 mtrs of the surface.
Other wrecks include The Berwyn (1918) The Wolf (1955) The C-trk, Pamir , and Friars Craig (all sunk mid 80’s) and the most recent The Eillon, a 40 mtr freighter seized for drug smuggling and purposely sunk in 1993. (It’s amazing, You’d never guess by looking at the surface how busy it is down there.)
