Freshwater Swimming Pool
There is a mosaic tiled swimming pool in the gardens, by the bar and restaurant.

Tennis Courts
There are two tennis courts at the Sandpiper and there are two at our associate hotel, the Coral Reef Club. All courts are hard surface and are lit for night play. There is a complimentary tennis clinic available Monday to Saturday, between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 pm.
The use of these courts is complimentary to hotel guests

Golf
Guests can play golf at the Tom Fazzio designed Sandy Lane golf course and also have access to the exclusive Robert Trent Jones Jnr. designed golf course - the Royal Westmoreland. Golf clubs and shoes are available for hire.

Gym and Fitness Facilities
  
There is a gym at Sandpiper which carries the following "Life Fitness" equipment:

• 2 Upright Cycles
• 1 Recumbent Cycle
• 1 Smith Machine
• 1 Universal Multi Gym
• Free Dumbells 

A personal trainer is available upon request at an additional fee.

Children's Facilities at The Sandpiper
Children are welcome, except 15 January to 15 March when under 12 years cannot be accommodated.
Children under the age of 5 years are not allowed in the dining room or lounge after 7:00 p.m.

Family Program
We have designed a special summer family program for all children between the ages of 2 and 12 years. All features listed below are available weekly at no additional charge, between 01 July and 18 August, 2006.

- 3 half hour sailing lessons
- 3 half hour swimming lessons
- 2 half hour tennis lessons
- 2 hours per day of supervised care for children between 2 and 8 years, Monday to Friday.

Playground & Creche
At Coral Reef Club there is an unsupervised playground available for children up to the age of 10 years. There are swings, a slide and a playhouse. Attached to the playground is a creche which is open Mon - Fri, 2.00 - 4.30 p.m., for 2 to 8 year olds. Please book this with Reception before 12 noon on the day you require supervision.

Babysitting
We have reliable ladies whom we contact for nanny and babysitting services. A Babysitter is US$7.50 per hour during the day and US$12.50 per hour at night. Minimum of US$25.00 per day or night.

Equipment
We have a limited number of the following items available upon request, at no additional charge: cribs, high chairs, beds with sides, hot plates, bottle sterilizers, children’s books, monitors, mosquito nets and kettles.

Restaurants
We have a children's room service dinner available between 5:30 and 7:00 p.m. and you can review the children's menu and arrange their dinner with the Maitre D' by noon. For younger babies, the Chef is happy to organize blended food (fresh vegetables, etc). We do request that children under 5 years are not brought into the restaurant during dinner service. May we ask your consideration, that when your child is in the restaurant during the day, if they become restless or noisy, please would you be kind enough to take them for a "brief walk". Breast feeding is not permitted in the restaurant or lounge. Please generally use discretion.
