WEDDING What you'll need (besides each other). Getting married in Bermuda is quite simple, really. Request a "Notice of Intended Marriage" form from the Bermuda Registrar General's Office or contact the Bermuda Department of Tourism office nearest you. Fill it out and mail it back to the Registrar General, Government Administration Building, 30 Parliament Street, Hamilton HM 12 Bermuda, along with a cashier's check or bank draft made payable to the Accountant General, Hamilton, Bermuda, in the amount of $210.00 U.S. dollars (plus $21.00 for the certificate). Your license will be valid for three months, and can be picked up at the Registrar's office by you or a designated person.
A Bermuda wedding with a tropical twist.
Legend has it that couples who kiss under Bermuda's Moongates, wedding-band shaped archways of coral and stone, will be assured of good fortune and happiness. Not to mention many heartfelt return trips to Bermuda. Another custom is his-and-her wedding cakes. The tiny cedar sapling that adorns the bride's tiered fruitcake symbolises a wish for the couple's love to grow and mature through the years. Plant the sapling somewhere on the Island and keep the location secret. Of course, you can always create a tradition of your own.

Bermuda Honeymoon
You and Bermuda, the perfect match.
Most of the Island's hotels and cottages offer honeymoon packages that cater to every budget and taste. In addition to deluxe accommodations and breakfast, the packages include other romantic amenities, from chilled champagne upon arrival and personal massages, to intimate horse & buggy rides and dinner for two on a private terrace.
Everything under the sun.
On an Island surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise seas, watersports are, well, a natural. Snorkeling, fishing, scuba diving, parasailing, windsurfing and boating are just a few steps away. For landlubbers there's tennis, golf, cycling, and horseback riding. Of course, this is your honeymoon, so grab your spouse by the hand and take an enchanting stroll through the heart of Bermuda down the Railway Trail.
Everything under the moon.
After you watch the sun set, head in to town for a romantic candlelight dinner for two. Take a moonlit stroll and be serenaded by tree frogs. Experience local culture with the colourful Gombey Dancers. Count the stars on a horse-drawn carriage ride. Dance the night away at any one of the Island's sophisticated night clubs. And top it all off with a "Dark 'N' Stormy" nightcap. Then again, you can always create a little nightlife of your own.
The icing on the cake.
