Recognized as one of the top luxury destinations in the Caribbean, Biras Creek Resort features 33 Suites situated among 140 acres on beautiful Virgin Gorda.
Only reachable by boat or helicopter, Biras Creek is located on a strip of land between two hills on a 140 acre peninsula. Set amidst three distinct bodies of water, the enormous protected lagoon of North Sound, the open Atlantic Ocean, and the Caribbean bay, Biras provides a paradise for swimming, sailing, and snorkeling at the edge of the Resort's private white sand beach.

The art of hospitality lies in a perfect balance: all the elegance with none of the formality, excellent but unobtrusive service, a menu with all your favorites yet every meal, a delicious surprise.
Located at the highest point on the property, the restaurant and terrace bar provide breathtaking views of the North Sound through its "open walls". In the evening, diners sit at candle-lit tables, looking out over the sunset, selecting from an award winning cuisine  menu and an excellent selection of wines.
Breakfast is served from 8 am to 10 am in the Hilltop Restaurant overlooking the North Sound and Atlantic Ocean. For lunch, a freshly prepared BBQ lunch is served five days a week from 1 pm to 2 pm at the beach. The other 2 days, a light a` la Cart bar/lunch menu is served at the Hilltop restaurant.
Just in case your "sweet tooth" can’t quite make it to dinner, relax in the Arawak Room and enjoy a traditional Afternoon Tea including Twinning tea, Nespresso coffee, freshly baked cakes, tarts, and scones.
Dinner is served 6:30 pm to 9 pm at the Hilltop dining room over looking the North Sound as well as the Atlantic Ocean. Join us before dinner for a cocktail while enjoying a perfect view of the sun setting into the Caribbean Sea.
Our Four-course Prix Fixe dinner menus change every evening offering a selection of European and Caribbean dishes. For those with dietary needs a number of dishes are wheat/gluten free, and a vegetarian dish is offered nightly. Dishes can be tailored for guests with special needs and requests.

Sail and swim the warm waters of Deep Bay, perfect your tennis serve, stroll through the gardens, hike the hills, and explore the North Sound reefs with a Boston Whaler. Read that long-awaited novel on your private patio, nap in a hammock and enjoy all that Biras has to offer.
Recreation
You can swing in a hammock or take an hour long hike, bask in the sun or swim at our Deep Bay Beach. For the active guests and those who just want to take a deep breath and relax, Biras has it all.
Beaches
The beach at Berchers Bay, adjacent to the Ocean and Garden Suites, is perfect for walking, reading and sunbathing. For swimming and water sport activities, the beautiful sheltered beach of Deep Bay is a 10 minute walk or short bicycle ride from the suites.
Bicycles
All guests are given their own Caloi bicycle for exploring the spacious property and meandering trails during their stay. Please note that we drive or ride on the left in the British Virgin Islands!
Boston Whalers
Grab your snorkel gear and a picnic lunch before departing in one of Biras Creek’s Boston Whalers, available to guests for two hour excursions at a time. Each capable of taking up to three adults on exploratory trips around the protected waters of the Sound, the Whalers are a perfect escape to a private beach or a snorkeling haven.
If you are unfamiliar with motor boats, our Marina Village Dockmaster will be happy to give you instructions, which only takes a few minutes.
Garden Walk
Biras Creek’s Head Gardener, Alvin Harrigan, informs and delights guests as he describes the landscape and plants during his weekly walks. He willingly spends additional time with the guests who want to learn more about the plants and their care. Alvin will meet you in the Arawak Room at 10:00 am on Monday morning for a tour through Biras Creek's lovely gardens.
Hiking
Set amidst two hills and surrounded by three bodies of water, Biras Creek’s trails provide spectacular views of the entire property as well as panoramic vistas of the Atlantic Ocean, the North Sound and Deep Bay. Along the trails hikers will discover an abundance of diverse flora including cacti, wildflowers and mangrove forests. Experience resident wildlife including iguanas, birds and the pigmy gecko, the world’s smallest lizard which can only be found in the BVI. View the map of Biras Hiking Trails.
Snorkeling
The North Sound has many small islands and cays to explore along with some colorful snorkeling reefs. Masks, fins and snorkel gear are available for guests to use during their stay and can be picked up at the Marina Village near the Fat Virgin Gift Shop. View the Boston Whaler Limits Map.
Swimming Pool
Reserved exclusively for the Resort’s guests, the fresh water pool literally abuts the waves of the open sea on Bercher's Bay for a beautiful view from the lounges.
Television
Satellite television are available in the Arawak Room, plus a large selection of DVDs and Wii Games.
Tennis
Two floodlit Omni tennis courts, as well as balls and rackets, are available for complimentary guest use.

We have complimentary Kayaks, Lasers, Hobie Waves and windsurfers available for your use at Deep Bay. The General Assistants are on the beach from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm to give free sailing and windsurfing lessons.
Biras Creek Resort Accommodations
Wake up to the sound of waves rolling on the shell-strewn shoreline and enjoy coffee on your private verandah overlooking Bercher’s Bay Beach on the Atlantic side of the estate. The sunrises and sunsets often reflect a palette of colors on the sea to be enjoyed from the suites.
Suites have pillow-top king beds, unless twin beds (two single beds) are specified. Three interconnecting suites are available to make two-bedroom, two-bath suites.
Garden Suites
Set back from the shore and spread out among naturally landscaped gardens behind the Ocean Suites, the Garden Suites provide fleeting views of the Atlantic Ocean through the vegetation.
Ocean Suites
Positioned along the water's edge, the Ocean Suites offer uninterrupted views of the sea from the bedrooms and private verandahs. Expansive windows offer spectacular views of the ocean and sunrise each morning. Large enough for two, the separate garden shower opens to the skies.
Grand Suites
Featuring a fabulous vista and private plunge pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Grand Suites provide complete peace and privacy.
A furnished verandah extends from the living room to provide an Oceanside sitting area and sun deck. An arched doorway opens to the spacious air conditioned bedroom which has a king bed, large walk-in closet, desk and dresser, and opens to a covered private verandah with lounge chairs and private plunge pools. The bath area includes an oversized soaking tub with an ocean view. A separate garden shower, large enough for two, opens to the skies. Vanities flank each side of the "picture window". The living room has a half-bath off the entry foyer and space to add a roll-away bed for an extra person. If requested, the two Grand Suites can be interconnected.
Premier Suite
The luxurious Premier Suite offers the comfort of a two bedroom, two bath suite with a generous sitting room.
The arched entry door opens into an expansive living area with two sofas and comfortable chairs. Doors on either side lead to two identical bedroom suites with private access to its own outdoor furnished verandah offering spectacular ocean panoramas. A third verandah, covered to provide shade, extends from the living room with a perfect view of the Caribbean Sea. The ensuite bathrooms to each air-conditioned bedroom feature a dressing area and a large tile shower with two shower heads. The Premier Suite rate is based on occupancy of up to four people.
