Sugar Mill  Villa, Vacations and Travel Package

Set amid lush tropical surroundings, nestled on the northern shore in Little Apple Bay, the Sugar Mill is the perfect place to relax & enjoy the beautiful British Virgin Islands. The Sugar Mill is separated from the beach by a small country road, and all of our rooms are not even a minute walk to the beach. Our circular fresh water swimming pool is nestled among swaying palm trees offering a refreshing alternative to the beach.
We have a full concierge service and are happy to assist in organizing daytime excursions such as windsurfing lessons, diving, day sails or spa treatments. Come and let us spoil you at the Sugar Mill Hotel. 
The Sugar Mill Restaurant is renowned for its romantic atmosphere & culinary delights. The May 2004 Caribbean Travel & Life Reader's Poll voted the Sugar Mill Restaurant 'One of the Four Best Restaurants in the Caribbean.'
Enjoy our spectacular sunsets in the tranquil ambiance of our tree-shaded alfresco gazebo terrace. The main Dining Room has been restored from the ruins of a 370-year old sugar mill, where dinner is served by candlelight with a menu that changes nightly.
Breakfast is served on the terrace from 8am -10am, here you can listen to the sounds of the sea and look out to Jost Van Dyke. On the beach, 'Islands' Beach Restaurant serves lunch daily from 12 Noon - 2pm. There is a natural reef, which provides interesting views for snorkelers.

Deluxe Villa
Our two bedroomed villa offers a very special accommodation for Sugar Mill guests. Each bedroom is air conditioned and has an en suite bathroom. The living area has a full kitchen, cable t.v., video and large balcony offering stunning views of the ocean and neighboring islands, with a private terrace at the rear of the property.

Deluxe Accommodation
The Deluxe Studios can either be King or Twin bedded with private bathroom, wetbar kitchenette and balconies with ocean & garden views. No TV’s.

Pool Suites
The Pool Suites are designed with a breakfast bar kitchenette, sitting area with sofa (which can pullout for a Queen sized sleeper) and cable TV.  The bedroom can be king or twin bedded with double sink basins featuring an outside stone faced shower.  The balcony has been expanded with ceiling fan and patio furniture.

Plantation House Suites
Designed to reflect the charm of traditional Caribbean architecture, with fine stone work, breezy porches and lacy gingerbread trim. Plantation House is just a few steps from the beach and contains a pair of two-bedroom air-conditioned suites with elegant tropical decor and magnificent views.

With an open plan layout, each master suite has a king size bed, large bathroom with double sinks, a living room area with sofa and chairs, cable TV and kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator. The adjacent bedroom can be adapted to a king or twin bed and has a large bathroom, sitting area, refrigerator and coffee maker.

These flexible accommodations offer guests of the Sugar Mill many new choices. The upper level suite has a flat in entrance with no steps which makes it an excellent choice for those who find steps or hills difficult. Each 2 bedroom suite is approximately 1,100 square feet.

The Cottage
The Cottage offers a luxury haven for just the two of you. Classic Caribbean mahogany decor with a queen size four-poster bed, living area, cable TV, kitchenette, bathroom with outside stone shower and garden veranda with table, chairs and lounger.

You'll find breakfast on our open terrace where the menu will tempt you with such dishes as our Beach Breakfast (a Caribbean combination of Black Beans, poached or fried eggs, creole sauce and fried plantains) or Rum French Toast, Plantation Pancakes or Pina Colada Pancakes.

Lunch is served at our beach restaurant at Islands our seaside restaurant. At midday you can feast on such dishes as Stamp and Go (salt fish fritters), Flying Fish Sandwiches, Jerked Baby Back Ribs, Crab Cakes, Garden Pita Sandwiches and, of course, Cheeseburgers in Paradise.
Imagine dining by candlelight in a romantic 370 year old stone sugar mill with a tropical garden to add to the atmosphere. You can - at the Sugar Mill Restaurant. The nightly changing menu is designed by our chefs and our proprietors Bon Appetit columnists, Jeff and Jinx Morgan. Voted by readers of Caribbean Travel and Life as "The Best Restaurant in the Caribbean."

A typical evening's selection might begin with Lobster Bisque with Basil Croutons, Shrimp & Vegetable Skewers served over Caramelized Pineapple Salsa, or Warm Oyster Gratin with Smoked Bacon & Guinness Hollandaise. Main courses to tempt would be Salmon wrapped in Leek with Petit Pois Emulsion & Shaved Fennel Salad, Poached Lobster Salad a la Nicoise, Pan Roasted Duck Breast served with Asian Cole Slaw & Soba Noodles. For our Vegetarian diners, we offer entrées such as Wild Mushroom Empanadas with Fresh Pico de Gallo & Lime Cream Fraiche, Eggplant Creole with Caribbean Coconut Rice.
