Lions Dive & Beach Resort has 3 different room categories:
Run of the House (ROH); rooms with garden, pool or street view
Oceanview (OCV); rooms with a view of the ocean
Oceanfront (OF); rooms directly facing the Ocean
Wheelchair accesible rooms and family rooms with connecting doors (with or without kitchenette) are also available.
All our rooms have a maximum capicity of 4 persons per room. Children under 12 years old stay in their parents rooms for free.
Baby cots and baby baths are available at no extra charge.

Apartments
Lions Dive & Beach Resort is very proud on the 6 luxury apartments, which have been finished november 2005. The apartments are located directly at the beach, with magnificent oceanfront view, and feature:

World Cup Mountainbike
The UCI Mountain Bike World Cup 2006 cross country season opened on Curaçao on Saturday the 1st of April 2006 and Lions Dive & Beach Resort was very proud to host this unique event!
General Manager Will Vogels and former cyclist and cycling events organizer Leo van Vliet had been able to convince the UCI of the perfect location and the racetrack of approximately 5.5 km long has been partially composed by the first Olympic Champion MTB, Bart Brentjes himself. Most spectacular thing of the track was definitely the start and finish on the beach!Mountain bike professionals from all over the world, including the Olympic Champions and World Champions,

checked in at Lions Dive for this event. 19 out of the 20th best mountainbikers in the world were present!

Amstel Curacao Race
Lions Dive & Beach Resort yearly hosts the best cyclist of the world during the Amstel Curacao Race. This end-of-the-season race takes place every first Saturday of November and we already welcomed internationally well known cyclist like Tom Boonen, George Hincapie, Paolo Salvoldelli, Alejandro Valverde, Michael Boogerd, Erik Dekker and Thomas Dekker.
This year start and finish was right in front of the Lions Dive Hotel. It was not easy for Tour de France winner Alberto Contador, but in the last meters he could leave Thomas Dekker behind him and he finished as the winner of the 6th Amstel Curacao Race at Lions Dive! Frank Schleck ended at the third place and had a good race with his brother Andy. The winner of the Amstel Curacao Race 2005, Tom Boonen, got a flat tire twice and knew at that moment that he could not win this year. But nevertheless Tom Boonen and also mountainbiker Bart Brentjes and cycling talents Robert Geesink, Ciolek and Gerdemann had a good race and ended close to the winner. This year's race was the final goodbye of Micheal Boogerd. Micheal Boogerd received his number 1 before the start but was unable to compete because of his knee injury.

Te land, ter zee en in de lucht
Te land, ter zee en in de lucht is a, for the Dutch well known and very popular, game all about creativity, courage, cleverness, speed and luck! Purpose of the game is to be the fastest going down a slippery slope in a self-made boat / vehicle (or how you want to call it!) and ring a bell in the water! This event is gaining popularity among tourists and locals every year!

Ride & Swim for the Roses
The Ride for the Roses is an international event that was initiated by the Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong. Its purpose is to raise funds and awareness for the fight against cancer.
The Swim for the Roses covers 2.5 kilometers from Jan Thiel to Wet n’ Wild at Seaquarium Beach. The little ones can join the group at Lions Dive’s beach and swim to Wet ‘n Wild from here.The Ride for the Roses consists of an off-road bike tour and 3 on-road bike tours (20km – 40 km – 60 km). The Ride & Swim for the Roses are both not competitive, but only to raise awareness and of course to have a lot of fun!

Ocean Encounters' "One Stop Dive Shop" philosophy allows divers the opportunity to dive the entire island. Experiences like Mushroom Forest, Klein Curacao, Superior Producer and Tugboat are available right outside your hotel door. Just off the Lions Dive beach is the famous Stella Maris reef. It's a beautiful shore dive that is home to a missing shipwreck found by Ocean Encounters' Technical Exploration Team.

Our dive boats are spacious and include all the safety equipment required for an enjoyable excursion. We include rinse tanks for masks and camera's and one Divemaster for every ten divers. Our Divemasters are experts in the marine wildlife in the area. They will make sure you don't miss any seahorses, frogfish, turtles, green morays, or anything else that moves under the water. We have a set schedule of boat dives and trips to make sure you don't miss any of the beautiful dive sites Curaçao has to offer.

Ocean Encounters is also the place to learn. We offer PADI diving education for the non-diver to Instructor level and Technical training. No matter where you are in your diving life we have something to teach you. All of our instructors give the best quality education available on the island. You'll learn with the most up-to-date materials in the most modern classrooms available.
