Blue Bay Village, an oasis of beauty.Its location on the peaceful south coast enables you to go snorkeling, diving or swimming whenever you feel like it. Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort, previously the Blaauw plantation, functioned until 1990 as a farm and a quarry, remains of which can still be found on this extensive piece of land. The large 18th.century manor is still in use. A large part of the resort, measuring more than 200 hectares, is in use as a golf course, surrounded by private houses.
The plantation is centrally located , not only near a supermarket, a shopping centre and Willemstad, but also to the Hato airport which can be reached within 10 minutes.

The villas at Blue Bay Village are spacious and comfortable. They all have an open kitchen with bar, a very large living room opening onto the veranda, three bedrooms, two luxury bathrooms and an additional toilet for guests. The furniture tones in with the style of the house. Whether on the Caribbean Sea, the tropical garden or the golf course: every villa offers a unique view!

The luxurious villas are built in typical Caribbean style. A high ceiling and soft pastel tints create a pleasant feeling of coolness. As the windows have not only glass but also wooden shutters, you can choose to sleep in the sultry evening wind or in the coolness of the air-conditioning. The use of high quality materials, such as granite and cedar, enhances the character of the villas. All the windows and doors, as well as the terrace, are made of tropical hardwood.

Needless to say, every villa is equipped with all the modern amenities such as cable television, wireless internet connection, air-conditioning, ceiling ventilators, telephone and a safe. The luxurious kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, a combi microwave oven and an American refrigerator with ice cube maker. Naturally the villas are cleaned every three days and you are provided with clean linen and towels. If desired, there are also non-smoking villas available. Pets are not allowed.

Blue Bay Beach
Palm trees, azure blue water and tropical temperatures can all be found at Blue Bay Beach! On the idyllic beach there are many shady spots, comfortable sunbeds, showers, changing rooms, toilets, a fresh water swimming pool with a special children’s pool and various facilities such as a volleyball field and a playground.

Beachclub Azzuro
Either in the shade of the trees or on the terrace, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, a lunch with a difference or a refreshing cocktail. In the evening Azzuro becomes a restaurant full of atmosphere with an international cuisine. It is also possible to have a romantic dinner directly on the waterfront!

Blue Bay Divers - diving and water sports
Blue Bay Divers gives you the chance to explore, in relaxed and safe surroundings, the amazing underwater world of Curaçao: the coral reefs, “The Wall” and “The Garden”, are not to be missed!
The diving school is fully certified for all PADI diving courses, including courses for children from the age of 10, and has the most modern equipment at its disposal. The school also has all diving gear for rent.
In the inviting beach shop you will find besides snorkel and diving equipment, a wide assortment of beach fashion and accessories. Here you can pick up a clean beach towel everyday upon presentation of your Blue Bay Village pass.
The water sport centre organizes, amongst other things, catamaran sailing and kayak activities. Have you always wanted to master the spectacular sport of catamaran sailing? Our professional instructors can help! The constant presence of the trade wind makes this an unforgettable experience.

Blue Bay Golf Course
The exciting 18-hole golf course, well known for its spectacular location and the many dramatic views, is a challenge to any golfer. The undulating layout, the relentless trade wind, the various holes where one has to play the ball over or along the Caribbean Sea, and the narrow fairways flanked by water and rugged local vegetation, challenges every golfer. The golf course winds its way through the complete Blue Bay resort: the villa park is situated on the 10th hole.
The course has a complete practice facility and is open to everyone who wants to try the game of golf. All players have to use a golf cart. Best Western Blue Bay Village guests can take advantage of attractive prices for green fees.
Because of the wonderful climate on Curaçao, Blue Bay Golf is open all year round. There is a Pro Shop where you can find everything you need for a game of golf and a welcoming bar where you can cool off after the game. Don’t forget to reserve your tee time!

Tennis
Within walking distance of the villas there are two tennis courts which can be used free of charge during the day. However, here will be a small charge if you wish to make use of the lights in the evening. For those interested, tennis lessons are given by our professional tennis trainer. These lessons can be booked at the front desk.

Front Desk
The front desk is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day. You can book excursions, hire a car for a reasonable price, have digital photos printed and even make arrangements for a babysitter. You can also ask for a daily update of your bill.

Sport Activities
Six days a week young an old can enjoy a very varied sports program, set up by our animation team. You can find the program in your villa

Kidsclub
Feel free to take your child/children to the kids club which is situated on the beach. The activities, organized by an experienced nanny, are such fun that your children will never forget them. It is also possible to provide swimming lessons for your children.

Your Wedding at Blue Bay Village
A romantic wedding on our intimate Caribbean beach, a day never to be forgotten! In cooperation with Ban Kasa (wedding planner), our banqueting department arranges your wedding at the beach. From two to a hundred guests and accommodation can be arranged as well. Reserve well in advance, as Blue Bay beach is a popular wedding location!

Within walking distance of the villas, just beside the tennis courts, a fitness room is situated. There you will find a wide range of equipment, so you can plan your own fitness program to stay in shape during your stay
