Curaçao is the vacation destination with a difference. The fun shines on 38 beaches dotting the coastline like pearls, waiting for sunbathers, divers, and snorkelers. Nature lovers can climb Mount Christoffel, and explore the “living” Hato Caves. Architecture and history buffs will want to visit our splendid country mansions (landhuizen) and explore historic Willemstad's charming streets and pedestrian malls, home to many of our museums and landmarks. Divers and snorkelers will find an underwater paradise of “Mushroom Forests” and “Car Piles”, and sports lovers can try everything from deep sea fishing to golfing, jogging and tennis. After hours you can dance the night away to the beat of soca, salsa, meringue and rock & roll, or try your luck at a casino.On land or on the sea, Curacao has a variety of sports to tempt all but the most stubborn couch potato. Water sports enthusiasts, of course, are in their true element here. Curacao has some of the best snorkeling and diving in the Caribbean, as well as great deep sea fishing and sailing. Windsurfing conditions are excellent for advanced board surfers The seaquarium beach and several hotels have water sports centers, some hotels also have tennis courts. Golfers can play a few rounds on the sand greens of the Curacao Golf and Squash Club or at the Bluebay Golf Resort. Hikers will want to spend time at Christoffel and Shete Boca Parks. Joggers may enjoy the Koredó, a 2.5 kilometer seaside track just north of town. If you're a soccer or baseball enthusiast, you might enjoy watching a game at one of the many neighborhood fields and stadiums. Snorkeling & Scuba Diving
Curaçao 's more than 100 dive sites are famous all over the world with visibility ranging from 60 to 150 feet and water temperatures a comfortable 70 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The Curaçao Underwater Park is a 12.5 mile coral reef that has been protected as a National Park. Guides are available for hire, and lessons are offered for beginners.

Golfing
The Blue Bay Resort
At Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort the sand, sea age-old trade winds and spectacular natural environment challenge the golfer right through to the last hole. This 18-hole championship course will require not only that you bring a sound game but that you bring a good camera as well.

Deep Sea Fishing:
Private boats are always available for charter. The marlin, Dolphin, sailfish, tuna, and wahoo, Barracuda, Snapper in nearby waters provide an exciting challenge even for accomplished fishers. The Curaçao Golf and Squash Club
has a 9-hole golf course with unique and unusual sand greens. Squash is also available, and tennis courts may be found at many of the larger hotels around the island.

Hiking:
Trails run throughout the 4,500 acres of Christoffel Park, and the 2-mile Rif Recreation Area offers a surfaced track for jogging.

Horseback Riding:
Ashari's Ranch and Rancho Alegre provide guided tours on horseback for beginning as well as experienced riders.
