Jungle Bay Resort and Spa is a leading ‘green’ tourism destination on Dominica. The founders Samuel and Glenda Raphael demonstrate that you can create a sustainable tourism business which focuses on ‘environmental’, ‘social’ and ‘economic’ sustainability.

Jungle Bay features thirty-five tastefully furnished tropical hardwood cottages elevated on wooden posts, nestled beneath the undisturbed jungle of Dominica. Cottages are spacious and feature wood furnishings all "designed and built" at the resort.

Cottages are perched like birds nests, tucked away on a hillside between Cedar, Gomier and Galba trees. A spring fed stream cascades along the valley below. Special care was taken to preserve the forest in its original form. Cottages are accessed through a series of footpaths and stone staircases. The low impact night lighting along with the sound of the Atlantic surf creates a romantic, surreal ambiance - especially around the night of a full moon.

Please note: Some cottages are located up 200 steps from the main path - a moderate level of fitness is recommended.

Dining at Jungle Bay is truly a unique experience. Our Jungle Pavilion restaurant comes complete with tropical forest motif including a royal palm tree protruding through its roof. This open air octagonal structure overlooks our stone pool and the Ocean. The atmosphere is a perfect complement to our 'fun and healthy living' atmosphere.

Our gourmet cuisine features mostly Vegetarian, Seafood, Chicken dishes prepared and served with a distinct Caribbean flavor.

Our health spa features five semi open studios suspended along the cliff side overlooking the Atlantic coast.

Our visitor center is a tastefully landscaped volcanic stone and wood fort like structure designed in traditional Caribbean motif. Jungle Bay Yoga Center is home to our two indoor yoga studios which are 2400 square feet and 1000 square feet respectively. The well ventilated studios have finished wooden floors and dramatic views of the ocean.

Our Coconut Bar & Activities Center are located on the second floor of the visitor center. The Coconut Bar is a seasonal meeting place adjacent to the year-round Recreational Lounge. The spacious lounge includes a big- screen television, dart board, pool table, table tennis and plenty of games and books to keep you occupied in-between your Jungle Bay adventures.

Our Beach Bar & Sun Deck is situated along the rocky Atlantic coast is the perfect place to relax and watch the waves roll in. The Beach Bar is accessed by a hidden boardwalk and wooden staircase which takes you all the way to the waters edge; a great place to explore!

Our Volcanic Stone Finished Swimming Pool is surrounded by wide wooden decks. Frolic in the waters or relax on our cushioned classical lounge chairs while sipping your favorite drink from the nearby Pavilion Restaurant. The Calabash poolside bar is open seasonally.
