Punta Cana Resort and Club offers a combination of natural beauty and privacy. Its 432 rooms distributed in oceanfront villas and tree-shaded villas can be found within 105 acres of lush gardens. Accommodations are divided into the following categories:

Cocotal
These comfortable ocean view rooms are located in three-story buildings directly on the beach and decorated in "Caribbean flare." Each room has two queen size beds, a balcony or terrace, minibar, air conditioning, ceiling fan, color cable TV, direct dial telephones, safe deposit box, and a bathroom with Dominican marble finish, bathtub, shower, bidet and hair dryer.


Superior-Deluxe Golf Rooms
Located in three- and four-story buildings with direct access to the beach, each room has two full size beds or one queen size bed, minibar, air conditioner, hair dryer, direct dial telephones, color cable TV, safe deposit box and furnished balcony.

Villas
Beautifully appointed two- and three-bedroom villas located directly on the beach under the shadow of our native coconut trees, or by the tennis courts surrounded by the exuberant tropical vegetation. Each bedroom offers two single beds or one queen size bed, private bathroom with hair dryer, air conditioning, wet bar, direct dial telephones, color cable TV and a safe deposit box. Each villa has a common area composed of a living-dining room, kitchen and a garden or terrace.

Golf Villas Grande Luxe
Interiors of these luxurious beachfront golf villas were created by the famous Dominican fashion designer Oscar de la Renta, combining simplicity and elegance in an atmosphere of comfort and beauty. The villas are located in a private area facing one of the most spectacular 18-hole golf courses in the Caribbean. Each two-level villa offers either two or three bedrooms, living room, kitchenette, refrigerator and Jacuzzi. All rooms are equipped with two queen size beds or one king size bed and private bathroom.

Recreation

Golf
Punta Cana Resort and Club's newest addition is the spectacular championship 18-hole golf course designed by the world-renowned P.B. Dye. Fourteen holes feature breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and four holes play along the ocean itself. A practice range, golf instruction and a brand-new beachfront clubhouse containing a fully stocked golf shop. Locker rooms, restaurants and bars are also available.

The Ranch
Located next door to the resort, The Ranch offers horseback riding excursions for the whole family, as well as riding classes for children and adults.

Water Sports
Sailing, windsurfing, water skiing and snorkeling classes are available to resort guests free of charge from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Canoeing, windsurfing and sailing are also available at no cost. Boating, deep-sea/shallow-water fishing and SCUBA diving excursions can be arranged for a nominal charge.

SCUBA Diving
The Dive Center at Punta Cana Resort and Club, recognized by PADI as a Gold Palm Resort, offers two daily dive trips for certified divers. Those who would like to learn how to dive may also take certification courses offered by the resort. Ask about our exciting new dive on the sunken ship "Patricia" just offshore from our beach."

Daytime Sports and Activities
Guests are welcome to participate in organized tennis tournaments, beach volleyball matches, beach aerobics classes, and our popular Merengue and Salsa classes.

Tennis
For tennis lovers, there are four clay tennis courts available for day and evening play. Tennis lessons and group clinics are also available.

Evening Entertainment
Each evening at La Tortuga Theater, located next to the swimming pool, guests can enjoy a variety of nightly shows and the best in Dominican Merengue and Salsa music. In the lobby area there's live piano music, and at Mamma Venezia and La Cana Restaurant there is live guitar and piano music nightly. La Proa Discotheque is open nightly offering a varied repertoire of international music.
