Styled like a British Colonial mansion's grand sitting room, an open-air lobby features green and maroon walls, marble floors in cream and rose, tall windows, a recessed dome ceiling painted with a sky scene, and a carved-wood door from an Indian maharaja's palace.
Enclosing a garden courtyard with gentle waterfall, a two-story European spa in a rose-and-lemon-chiffon building with red tile roofs provides a tranquil ambience of wood ceilings, candlelight, orchids, and lemon-grass scent for massage, body wraps and scrubs, facials, paraffin treatments, waxing, hair braiding, and hair and nail care. The spa features special services-for-two, including one with a two-person spa tub in an alcove graced by orchids and candles. Other features include a Vichy shower and women's and men's saunas, relaxation lounges, and small nude sunning courtyards (surcharges).

A children's camp and nursery offer supervised care and age-group activities for infants and children to age 12. The camp features air-conditioned playrooms, a toddlers' pool, an expansive playground, miniature golf, pool tables in an open-air pavilion, and two air-conditioned video-game rooms. Trained nannies can provide after-hours child care for up to three children day and night (surcharges).

Organized family activities at pools and on the beach are available all day, beginning with a morning power walk and including hat-making lessons, Latin dancing at a beach bandstand, "aqualympics" competitions, and parent-child scavenger hunts. After-dark activities include staff-presented shows in an amphitheater, karaoke, singalong piano gatherings, jazz and reggae sessions, clown and magic shows, and fire dancer/limbo extravaganzas.

An open-air fitness center offers free weights, cardio and weight machines, and an aerobics area. A round spa tub surrounded by a wood deck provides soaking space for 10 in a quiet courtyard outside the center. Other resort facilities include three coin-operated laundries, an Internet-access kiosk (surcharge), and an open-air space containing slot machines. A gift shop sells liquor, snack foods, sundries, and beach and resortwear. Language translators are available on request for non-English-speaking guests.

The resort features a toddler's pool and two swimming pools, one measuring 929 square meters (10,000 square feet) and the other 232 square meters (2,500 square feet), each with swim-up bar. A waterpark includes two long spiral water slides, a lazy river with tubes, and a splash deck.

Watersports included in the All-Inclusive Plan include kayaking, Sunfish and Hobie Wave sailing, windsurfing, kneeboarding, water skiing, banana boating, scuba diving trips, and snorkeling. Scuba-diving certification courses and night dives are available (surcharges). Land sports include tennis on two lighted hard-surface courts, basketball, soccer, cricket, croquet, bocce, shuffleboard, horseshoes, beach and pool volleyball, and miniature golf

The resort has a 100 percent cancellation, no-show, and short-stay penalty. Because unforeseen circumstances arise, travel insurance is strongly recommended. 
 
Guests also have access/privileges at Beaches Sandy Bay. However, parents must note that the supervised children's program/services will only be available at the resort where they are personally staying (they cannot drop kids off at a resort where they are not staying). 
 
Hurricane Guarantee
In the unlikely event that hurricane force winds (as defined by the U.S. National Weather Service) directly hit the Sandals or Beaches resorts while you are a guest, interrupting the use of all the included activities, Sandals or Beaches Resorts will offer a free replacement vacation to be taken at any Sandals or Beaches Resort of your choice. This replacement stay will be for the same duration as the one originally booked, regardless of how many days were affected by the hurricane. The replacement stay will be in an equivalent room category to the one originally booked, exclusive of air and will be subject to certain blackout dates.
This offer must be applied within one year from the date the hurricane directly hit the resort. This offer is subject to change and can be withdrawn without notice. This offer supersedes all previously printed hurricane guarantee offers for Sandals. Blackout dates are defined as those deemed by Sandals Resorts to be not available for such stays.  
 
Upon check-in, guests will be asked to tender a credit card to activate their room folio. All purchases (except those paid for with a credit card) at resort outlets will be signed to the room folio. Cash will not be accepted for incidental charges at any resort outlet.
If a credit card is unavailable, a cash deposit must be left at the front desk/concierge in order to activate the room folio. Travelers’ checks will be treated like cash and therefore can only be used at the front desk.
