Breezes Resort & Spa Rio Bueno is now one of the shining gems of our Breezes brand of resorts!   This beautiful 5 Star resort is an old fashion re-creation of a Jamaican seaside village!  It was constructed with Gingerbread architecture, cobble-stoned streets, and even has a fountain at town square!  You can stroll the cobble stone streets while dining at street side restaurants, shopping in our many stores, relax in the piano bar, or relax on a floating mat in our beautiful main pool!  Or for the more adventurous, scuba diving is completely included, as is water skiing and golfing at our own executive course located right on property!  You will notice that here are always gentle breezes on this part of the island as well.  This resort reminds me a bit of Savannah, GA in the Caribbean!  Each room block has a spire tower at one corner, with peaceful palm tree lined walkways leading to the center of town from your private room block.  And remember that Breezes Rio Bueno also has an exclusive Au Natural section that we call the “Village at Rio Bueno.”   It is a resort within a resort!  Travel & Leisure Magazine has ranked Breezes Rio Bueno Resort & Spa among the “Top 5 hotels in Jamaica,” and the “Top 20 hotels in the Caribbean, Bermuda and the Bahamas”!  This is truly one of the must visit resorts in Jamaica, or the Caribbean as a whole!

Breezes Resort & Spa – Rio Bueno consists of 226 rooms & suites in 14 separate structures, including 52 rooms and suites in 2 buildings in our private section overlooking the au naturel beach. All rooms feature either a beach front, ocean view or garden view, plus a patio or balcony, and are furnished with the following:

Premium cocktails and exotic tropical concoctions flow endlessly from bars located throughout the grounds. And there’s always a quick snack sizzling on our outdoor grills. The buffets abound with tropical surprises and traditional favorites. Or make reservations for an unforgettable evening at one of our casually elegant restaurants. Try everything, and feel free to come back for more. It’s all included.

At Breezes we’ve created the standard of excellence for Caribbean dining. Chefs trained in European, French, Italian, Caribbean, Japanese, American and Continental cuisine. Fresh pasta. Fine wines. Desserts that are barely legal. And as always, no tipping allowed. Not ever. Breakfast and lunch buffets are lavish and beautifully presented.

Piacere - Nouvelle cuisine in a more formal setting. Reservations required. Open for dinner only. Piacere is closed on Fridays. Dress code for men: Jackets, dress slacks, dress shoes. No jeans, sandals or tennis shoes. Dress code for women: Dresses, suits, dressy slacks with blouse. No jeans or beach sandals.

La Pasta - A casual sidewalk cafe, serving Italian favorites late into the evening. Casual. No reservations required. Open for dinner daily.

Victoria Market - Breakfast and lunch are served al fresco at our buffet style restaurant, featuring traditional favorites and tropical surprises. Dinner served a la carte. Casual. No reservations required.

Reggae Cafe RASTAraunt (SM) - An authentic taste of Jamaican. Serving traditional Jamaican favorites. Casual. No reservations required. Open 11 am – 4 pm daily for lunch and snacks.

Munasan - Innovative Japanese fare in a casually elegant atmosphere. Reservations required. Open for dinner only. Munasan is closed on Wednesdays & Fridays. Dress code for men: Slacks, collard shirts dress shorts. No faded jeans or swimsuits. Dress code for women: Slacks or dress shorts. No faded jeans or swimsuits.

Au Naturel Facilities - Separate 24 hour clubhouse with bar for guests in the au naturel areas. Continental breakfast from 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Clubhouse Bar open 9:00 AM – 2:00 AM, with Dining from 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Au Naturel Pool Grill open 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily, buffet Thursdays for lunch and snacks.

For something a bit more challenging try the PGA rated golf at SuperClubs’ private, 18-hole, golf course at Runaway Bay, only 25 minutes away (at an additional cost).
