Amenity highlights: Wood stairways lead down a 10-foot bluff to two beaches, one 100 yards long and the other 70 yards, providing swimming and sunbathing opportunities as well as views of Culebra island and the main Puerto Rico island to the north. Some days, St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands can also be seen on the horizon. Those views are also available from the two-level pool complex, whose lower level includes a shallow children's section. The upper level features two infinity edges flanking a swim-up bar. A pale coral-stone sundeck surrounding the pool is furnished with lounge chairs and umbrellas.
Insider tip: About 2 miles west of the resort, a 1.5-long pier juts into the Caribbean Sea, offering jogging and fishing opportunities.
