The last renovation and expansion was completed in November 2000. Emphasis on the rich St. Lucian architectural heritage is reflected in the intricate gingerbread fretwork, jalousie shutters and original handcrafted wooden furniture adorning the units.

Coming Soon The "Nobel" Villa Suite it will be a new special luxury one bedroom villa suite dedicated to Derek Walcott, the 1992 Noble Laureate for Literature, who spent his holidays over the years at the Villa Beach Cottages. It will feature along with several amenities an exquisitely carved wooden four-poster king size bed and in-room Jacuzzi with a view of the Caribbean Sea, a collection of his famous books and his water colour paintings adorning the walls.

The "Honeymoon" villa, the showpiece unit, has living/dining room and kitchen on the ground floor, and the bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. It features hardwood flooring, walls with Victorian wainscot paneling, and a romantic wooden spiral staircase leading to the bedroom, with French doors opening into the balcony and Caribbean Sea.

A few minutes walk away are restaurants and a small shopping mall with supermarket, shops, Internet café, bank, post office, dry cleaners, fitness and medical centres.
