Spacious, elegant accommodations are placed throughout the property with expansive terraces and impressive views. The Great House main building sits atop a hillside overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the Christiansted Harbor.
This resort is constructed around buildings which date to 1653; its architecture and history reflect the rich heritage of St. Croix. It is located less than a five minute drive to the historic town of Christiansted, where sightseeing, duty free shopping, watersports and dining can be found.

Rooms and Suites
Luxury Beachside Doubloons: Located on the Mermaid beach, luxurious villa-style accommodations have sitting areas with picture windows and marbled patios or balconies with views of the sea and Christiansted harbor. Each room interconnects through the patio or balcony. These spacious rooms feature fine furnishings, walk-in closets, and baths with whirlpool tubs and separate showers.
Deluxe Oceanfront: Spacious rooms have sitting areas, picture windows, ocean front patios, and distinctive 16 foot high wood ceilings. Rooms interconnect. Located along the shore between two beaches.
Luxury Ocean View: Spacious, well-appointed rooms with sitting area, and private patio, some with whirlpool baths and marble floors. Located along the ridge near the Great House, offering spectacular views of the Caribbean.
Great House Suites: Luxury suites, located on the first floor of the Great House, feature master bedrooms with four-poster king beds, separate full baths, walk-in closets and dressing areas. Separate living areas have two pull-out beds and full baths. Patios offer sea views.
All rooms feature a terrace, patio or balcony, one king or two queen beds, small refrigerator, safe, telephone, hair dryers, air-conditioning and satellite television, ceiling fans, irons and ironing boards, and coffee makers. Cribs and roll-aways are available by advance request.
Dining
Breakfast is as light as a fruit plate or substantial as banana pancakes. Either way, the sea view is eye opening. Lunch casually at the beach or pool on savory sandwiches, soups and salads. In the evening, island elegance prevails. Classic and Mediterranean specialties, often with a tropical twist, may be complemented by the fine wine collection. The lights of Christiansted twinkling below imbue a satisfying sense of place. Later, there may be dancing to jazz combos or steel drum bands.
Located in the Great House, The Terrace offers covered, open-air dining with views of the manicured fairways, Caribbean Sea and Christiansted Harbor. A complimentary full breakfast is served to resort guests. The dinner menu features classical cuisine with Caribbean accents.
The Mermaid is located beachside, and features an extensive lunch menu of savory appetizers, soups, salads and sandwiches, ranging from all-American favorites to island specialties to vegetarian fare. During winter, it is also the site of a weekly evening buffet by the sea, featuring tropical atmosphere to the tune of a steel pan band.
Recreation
A challenging, 18-hole, par-70 golf course, encompassing 5,810 yards with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. Known as St. Croix's most scenic course it was designed by Bob Joyce. A week of unlimited golf with cart, club storage, our signature Buccaneer golf balls and a visor to keep the sun out of your eyes is $260 p.p. Summer, $450 p.p. Winter. Club rental, club storage, a fully stocked pro shop and lessons are available.
Eight Laykold courts, two with championship lights, called the "best in the Virgin Islands" (Tennis Magazine), and a fully-stocked pro shop. Two annual tournaments, the Virgin Islands championships in July, and the Junior championship in October, and weekly round robin tournaments. The court cost is $16 per hour daytime play; $20 per hour nighttime play
St. Croix offers a variety of water activities, including snorkel trips to the world famous underwater national park at Buck Island. The Guest Services staff can also make arrangements for off-property parasailing, deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, kayaking, and snorkel excursions.
The Spa: Daily massage, sauna, seaweed wraps, facials and foot reflexology.
The Gym: Complementary use of Paramount equipment, including two treadmills, two stationary bikes, two stairsteppers and a multi-station gym.
