Day 1. Arrival to Costa Rica. And land transportation and lodging at Tamarindo Diria Hotel or similar.
Day 2. Breakfast. Tamarindo has all the amenities of a Costa Rican beach town: surf, sand and sun, sun, sun. But it offers much more too many more. It is the ideal place for honeymoons and weddings, couples, and families, and wonderfully suited to eco-adventures.
Tamarindo offers first class sport fishing, sailing, surfing, golf, ATV tours, turtle watching, diving, horseback riding, canopy tours, jungle boat rides, beauty spa, an art gallery and crafts and pottery stores. A multi-cultural community, Tamarindo boats several bakeries, an outdoors vegetable market and more than 40 restaurants.
Whether you like to eat Vegetarian, 'Tipico' Costa Rican, Italian or Sea Food, it is all here. The sun shines just about 365 days per year, and the temperature is pleasantly warm year round. In the rainy season, from May through October, you can expect a brief shower in the late afternoon, making the beach sparkle. Lodging at Tamarindo Diria Hotel.
Day 3. Air transportation to San José and connecting with land transfer on private service to Central Pacific. Lodging in the Villa Caletas Hotel. Overlooking a beautiful coastline, the breath taking views bring our country to life.
Villa Caletas is located in the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica, on a jungle hilltop. From each side of the mountain, rain forests spread to the sandy, quiet beaches below. The dark, emerald green of this wild, native vegetation contrasts with the blue of the Pacific Ocean. Views of lush tropical rainforests complement some of the most breath taking sunsets you will ever see. At the bottom of the mountain, Villa Caletas offers its own private beach.
Mainly renowned for the flocks of colorful, Scarlet Macaws, the region is preferred among nature lovers. The area hosts several biological reserves and wildlife refuges. Make a date with Mother Nature and come to a place of enchantment, a place of wild and unexplored treasures of all the best nature has to offer - sapphire waters, emerald vistas, ebony cats, and ruby birds.
Day 4. Lodging in the Villa Caletas Hotel.
Day 5. Transfer Villa Caletas Hotel / Manuel Antonio. Lodging in the Parador Hotel or similar. Breakfast included. Manuel Antonio National Park was established in 1972 and encompasses 1700 acres. Inside the Park are four well maintained beaches curving around a bay strewn with islands of rock and shaded by numerous trees. This Manuel Antonio Beach is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Park System.
We have heard from our quests that the sand beaches are the whitest of all Central America. Facilities available at the Manuel Antonio National Park include marked walking trails, restrooms and picnic areas. Both Punta Catedral and Puerto Escondido have scenic overlooks.
Day 6. Lodging in the Parador Hotel or similar. Breakfast included. The Manuel Antonio National Park is open daily from 7.00 am till 4.00 pm (Close every Monday. The daily entrance fee is $ 7.00 U.S. dollars p/p. The Manuel Antonio National Park abounds with orchids, bromelias, majestic hardwood trees and tropical flowers.
It has a variety of wildlife with more than one hundred species of mammals. Animals commonly sighted include numerous varieties of parrots, white-faced and howler monkeys. The most allusive residents of the Manuel Antonio National Park are the raccoons, coati-mundis, toucans, iguanas, opossums, sloths, acoutis, peccaries, seabirds, frigate, pelicans, terns and brown boobies.
At the limits of the park you may dive. At the entrance to the park there are several restaurants, bars, and snack bars. There are also rental facilities which rent boogie boards, mats, towels and beach wear. Sport fishing charters are also available for the enthusiast. No Fishing allowed on the Park.
Day 7. Pick-up to the airport for your return flight home.
