8 Days Rainforests of Costa Rica Deluxe Tour Package
 A rainforest is one of the most biologically rich and fascinating areas of ecology which is why you can not miss a trip to Tortuguero National Park. Here, you can explore the canals on a tour with a local boatman and observe the stunning natural scenery everywhere. Here, you will stay at the Mawamba lodge which offers comfortable rooms, a pool surrounded by exotic gardens, canal tours, hikes into the lush rain forest, bird watching, and various other facilities for your pleasure. Relax and dine at the spectacular Baldi Hot Springs in Arenal Volcano lodging in Montana de Fuego hotel. If you hike through the Arenal National Park to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, you will get an amazing up close view of a hot lava flow, known as the best way to experience the mighty "Mountain of Fire". You will be amazed with the diverse wildlife and rich vegetation of the area. Visit the skywalk in Monteverde, a complex suspension bridge and platform built within dense vegetation and majestic trees. Tour Itinerary Group Size: Min 2 - Max 16 Accommodations: Hotel, Resort, Lodge Day 1. Airport 'Meet & Greet' and transfer to hotel. Overnight in San Jose at Aurola Holiday Inn Hotel. Day 2. Morning pick up for your drive through Braulio Carillo National Park to the canals lining the Atlantic Coast where you board a boat for the trip to the Tortuguero Canals through 50 km of tropical rain forest. Late afternoon arrival at Tortuguero, and lodging in Mawamba Lodge (BLD). Day 3. Enjoy touring Tortuguero National Park with a local boatman and Sun Tours guide to observe the flora and fauna. There are 2 three-hour boating trips through the canals included in this package. Expect to see beautiful shorebirds, monkeys and sloth. On your own you may wish to hire a boat for additional exploration, or just hike along the beach or visit the village of Tortuguero accompanied by your own guide. Lodging in Mawamba Lodge. (BLD) Day 4. After breakfast connection - transfer to Arenal area. And at the end of the afternoon get some relax in Baldi Hot Springs with an excellent dinner included. And lodging in Montaña de Fuego. Day 5. Morning hike in the Arenal National Park and a close-up exploration of a lava flow. Mid-morning departure, driving around Lake Arenal to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, one of the richest and most diverse tropical cloud forests in the New World. It is best known as home to the Resplendent Quetzal but also protects hundreds of other birds, mammals and plant species. Overnight in Monteverde and lodging in El Sapo Dorado Hotel or similar. (BD) Day 6. In the morning, visit the skywalk a complex of suspension bridges and platforms constructed within cloud forest. In the afternoon hike thru the reserve viewing the misty forest with its dense vegetations and majestic trees. Overnight in Monteverde at El Sapo Dorado Hotel. (B/D) Day 7. Departure from Monteverde to San José, and lodging in Sleep Inn Hotel. (B) Day 8. Breakfast and transfers to the International Airport.
