Mawamba Lodge Information

Located on the northeast area of Costa Rica's Caribbean coast between the Tortuguero Lagoon and the Caribbean Sea. Mawamba is a 15 acre beachfront lodge located on the right side of Tortuguero offering nice views of the canals. It is the ideal hideaway for nature lovers and people seeking soft adventure. Its beautiful gardens and rustic accommodations blend with the exuberant jungle vegetation, exotic birds and wildlife creating the perfect balance of nature. It has a family style restaurant serving international and delicious local cuisine and a pool bar surrounded by beautiful gardens where you can enjoy exotic tropical cocktails.

54 comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, ceiling fans,hot water and rocking chairs. Rooms have either 3 single
beds or 1 double bed and 1 single bed.

-Pickup time at San Jose airport is between 5:30am to 6:40am.

-Maximum luggage allowance as per size of boats in the
Tortuguero area: 25lbs per person.
