Dortmund Nature & greenery
 Westphalia Park's attractions include the German rosarium, a Bavarian and a Japanese garden, play areas and sweeping lawns with deckchairs. The rotating restaurant at the top of "Florian", the 209-metre TV tower, offers epicurean delights and fabulous views of Dortmund and the surrounding region. Wischlingen Park is beautifully laid out with enormous trees, plenty of open space and an excellent selection of leisure activities.
Westphalia Park
Enjoy the first signs of spring, laze around in the sun, picnic on the lawns, enjoy 3,000 different varieties in a beautiful rose garden, take an autumnal walk, go ice-skating or cross-country skiing on the special trail – you can do all this and more at Westphalia Park. From the 209-metre Florian tower and revolving restaurant there are breathtaking panoramic views of Westphalia Park and the city.
Dortmund Zoo
This world-class zoo is home to more than 1,500 animals representing more than 240 native and exotic species from every continent.
Wischlingen Park
Nature, pure and green, as far as the eye can see. Wischlingen Park is beautifully laid out with enormous trees, plenty of grass and a lake. Wide open space with no fences and no admission price. Please do NOT keep off the grass. This is a beautiful piece of nature in the centre of Dortmund.
