 The capital of Schleswig-Holstein, Kiel has a tremendous wealth and variety of shops. Holstenstrasse, Germany's first true pedestrian precinct, is a vibrant shopping mall. Just across from the railway station, you'll find the Sophienhof shopping centre which has everything you could wish for.
