Hotel Marqués de Riscal General Information The new, landmark Hotel Marqués de Riscal, a member of the Luxury Collection, is nestled in the “City of Wine.” Designed by renowned architect Frank O. Gehry, our hotel is his second masterpiece in Spain, after Bilbao's Guggenheim Museum. Located in the heart of the Rioja wine region, we are ideal for a relaxed holiday or small meeting. 43 guest rooms, including 11 suites, feature a modern, comfortable atmosphere and unique design. Enjoy the views of the vineyards and the town of Elciego from any of the eight terraces located in the two wing building, or experience a memorable meeting in an ancient wine cellar which was converted to a banqueting space. The Marqués de Riscal Restaurant and the 1860 Restaurant delight with an elite selection of wines of the world and offer the best traditional Basque-Riojan cuisine combined with modern influences. The Wine Bar Vinoteca and the Rooftop Lounge - Library present a stylish, yet comfortable atmosphere with panoramic views. The Caudalíe Vinothérapie® Spa leads the leisure facilities, offering an indoor swimming pool, steam room, fitness centre, Jacuzzi, invigorating shower, and 14 treatment rooms with wide variety of "wine therapy" massages and treatments. Dining Overview
The heart of our function space is our 1,200-square meter ancient wine cellar which was converted into a banquet and function room with natural daylight. It can be divided into various sections, including the unique San Vicente and Chirel Rooms. For exclusive and intimate board meetings we suggest the exceptional Suite 16 with views over the Gehry Wing and Elciego. In addition, seven terraces are ideal for social events.
