Sonaisali Island Resort Activities
Paintball
Paintball, or 'Skirmish' as it is otherwise known, consists of individuals or teams donning protective clothing and preparing to do battle by claiming the others marked territory. Individuals carry a specially designed 'weapon' that allows them to shoot paint pellets at their opponents.
A challenging, action-packed game full of thrills and spills. Although there are many different game scenarios and field formats, typically a group of players will divide into two teams and play 'capture the flag'. This competition gives you the opportunity to challenge your clients /colleagues in a fun and friendly environment.
A specially constructed 'battleground' has been established well away from the Resort grounds. Mother nature has been kind to the island with the natural tropical flora adding to the unique atmosphere. Sonaisali imported the latest in equipment from a leading Australian specialist. All participants are issued with full protective safety equipment and clothing.
Several games of different levels are available to test your combat skills, including a test firing range.
Jet Skiing

Provided with an experienced guide, make your way to our favourite snorkelling site at Turtle Rock. Comprising of more than 30 islands, this destination is renowned world wide for its incredible landscape and pristine waters.

Mociu Island Jet Ski Safari Leaving Sonaisali every morning we blast across the Momi Passage to the sheltered waters surrounding Mociu Island.
Our experienced guide will assist you on your adventure of a lifetime. Enjoy the opportunity to snorkel and visit some of the most beautiful islands in Fiji.
Sports Fishing
Our Sports Fishing boat departs the Resort and is trolling within 15 minutes. The experienced Fijian crew are keen fishermen with local knowledge of the waters around the Resort and the Mamanuca's. There is a broad variety of species along the outer reefs to be reeled in and depending on the season Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, Walu and Barracuda are caught in astounding quantities.
Sports Fishing trips are available for early morning fishing trips and all day fishing expeditions.
The Sonaisali Kids Club
The Kids Club is open 7 days per week from 09.00 - 21.00 daily. It is free of charge for all Children from 4 - 12 years of age. All Children receive a free Kids Club T-Shirt - (minimum 3 night stay applies). Our Kids Club Attendants run supervised activities throughout the day. Please note that the Kids Club is not a Crèche or Child Minding Centre. Should your child require extra care, we suggest that you utilise our Babysitting Service.
Diving
Fiji enjoys the reputation for being one of the top five dive destinations in the world. Here is your chance to explore this fascinating underwater realm.
Diving trips operate daily directly from the Resort Marina - with over 25 spectacular dive sites located just 20 minutes away via the Resort Dive boat.
Full PADI Certificate, beginners to advanced, conducted by the Resort's highly qualified instructors.
Boat Trips
Island Hopping Board the fast boat Cagi Laba for a cruise, swimming and snorkelling around the neighbouring Mamanuca Islands. First landfall is to the Twin Resorts of Plantation Resort and Muscat Cove. After exploring the delights of these two Island Resorts, it's off to Qalito Island where Castaway Island Resort is situated for a quick swim and some snorkelling. A short boat ride and we arrive at the uninhabited Honeymoon Island for some serious snorkelling before returning to Sonaisali.

Dolphin Watching Come and watch pods of Spinner Dolphins in their natural habitat surface playing in pacific oceans blue water in the Mamanuca group close to barrier reef.
Dolphins are the world's most fascinating marine mammals. Fiji is home to the Spinner Dolphin that frequently lives in pods of up to 60 individuals, and is named after it's incredible acrobatic antics.
Board the fast boat Cagi Laba and staff will entertain you with information about the dolphins, while you enjoy this natural spectacle.

Snorkeling Sea-fari: Turtle Rock Turtle Rock is situated on the spectacular Kingfisher Reef, just 20 minutes offshore by Resort fast boat Cagi Laba (pronounced thangi - lum - ba). This fascinating and easily accessible underwater world is alive with a myriad of brilliantly colorful tropical fish and spectacular coral formations. An experience not to be missed for novices and experienced snorkellers alike.

Jungle Safari An experience unique to Sonaisali. The cruise travels up the sheltered waters of the Nadi River adjacent to the island, through dense mangrove jungle and lush cane fields and past the thermal 'Bubbling Spring' - a natural phenomenon of the mangrove ecosystem. The Tour is fully escorted.

Catamaran Tours
'Cagi Malua' 35ft Luxury Catamaran Sailing the South Pacific seas has now become an affordable reality with the 35ft luxury Catamaran taking Guests out through the Mamanuca islands.
The vessel christened 'Cagi Malua' (pronounced 'thangi ma-loo-a') translates from 'soft wind' in Fijian. The luxury vessel comes complete with fully equipped galley, extensive deck areas, fresh water shower, on-board toilet facilities, state of the art navigation, safety devices and experienced Fijian crew.
Whilst the beauty of Fiji's crystal clear blue waters will captivate guests, our chefs will satisfy the most discerning epicureans. Ocean fresh seafoods, B.B.Q meat's, salads, tropical fruits, Fijian delicacies and fully stocked bar will cater to the cruising hunger pains.

The Sonaisali Serenaders perform poolside nightly to delight you throughout Happy Hour. Thrill to the melting harmonies of the Fijian staff.
Witness the 'Lighting Of The Flares' ceremony each evening at sunset. This is a perfect photo opportunity.
During your stay, the Sunset Cruise on the 'Cagi Malua' our 35ft Luxury Catamaran sails away into the sunset. As the sun sets on another perfect day in paradise, sip on a cool drink and drift away to soft Fijian Music. The brilliant red and orange glows filling the sky are not to be missed. 'Five Tribes', our resident band performs 4 evenings per week. The beautiful Fijian harmonies entertain you throughout dinner, then later the band picks up the tempo to get you up and out on that dance floor. 'Island Breeze Band' have their own CD, which is available in the boutique - more memories of your time with us.
Monday evenings will see you entertained by the Bula Talei Dance Group. A lively array of dancing by the younger members of staff and friends from the nearby village of Korovuto. Everybody is invited to join in and have some fun! Performance in the Sunset Terrace Restaurant at 20.00.
On Wednesday evenings witness the Firewalking Cultural Performance. This is an event you have to see whilst in Fiji! Experience this Fijian phenomenon whereby Brave Warriors Walk Bare Foot over Red - Hot Stones without getting burnt. Performed at Sunset Point at Sunset.
Always fun to be had during the Frog Races, which are held poolside on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. Buy a frog or bet on someone else's. You have got to be in it to win it!
Join us on Thursday evenings for a Limbo competition. How low can you go!
Friday evenings join the fun with our Meke. Traditional Fijian chanting, song and dance performed by local villagers during which Guest participation is eagerly invited. A wonderful opportunity for a mutually rewarding cultural exchange, between our Guests and the indigenous Fijian people. Performed Poolside at 19.00.
Join us around the Bonfire on Friday nights for singing and story telling.
The Zero Bar is open Friday and Saturday nights - pool table, darts and the latest music to entertain you and dance the night away.
